who likes dubstep?

to each his own man. me and soem of my buddies get down with dubstep sober. while rollin its on another level...
 
dub just sounds stupid.
its too slow, and it doesnt have variety like other stuff
i only really like hardcore and hardstyle but trance, house, etc. are a lot more complex than

or whatever drum type thing they use instead of a kick.
i know hardcore and whatnot arent the most sophisticated but they do moar than dubstep..dubstep for the most part involves wobbly noises and a drum beat every few seconds

Every dub track there is? hah. Okay. If you're so knowledgeable in the dubstep genre, you obviously know almost all the tracks posted in this thread are all about the "wobble" or considered "filthy". IMO these kind of tunes are giving dubstep a bad name. What's so good about dubstep is that is encompasses so many different genres into unison, dnb, dub, uk garage, house, etc etc. We both know music is subjective so stop tooting your dnb horn as if its better than dubstep, to each his own.

i agree. and what is he talking about saying dubstep doesnt have variety??? theres so much variety in dubstep. they use bits of classical, reggae, rap, other house/electro music, even rock. there's virtually every genre used in dubstep.

some main things you might find in most dubstep songs is the 140bpm syncopated percussions inhereted from uk garage and grime. and obv the wobble. other than those 2 main components, dubstep can be anything type of music...
 
ok how bout all the haters can stay out of the thread and all the people who like dubstep can keep posting new songs and such?

I've been busy as can be today, I don't read the whole thread. I figured if it needed to be moved, it would be. Come now...I know idiots that listen to every type of genre, it has not a thing to do with a single type, lol.
 
The problem that I have with dubstep is that all the dnb dj's are throwing it into their sets and you never know when it's gonna drop in. Dammit, when I want to hear dnb, I want to hear DRUM N' BASS. I want to rrrrrrrrrrrrinse out. Don't drop these random wobbly tracks in and basically say "OK GUYS, TAKE A BREATHER" to the dancefloor. Fuck that shit, no breaks. If you need a break you walk off the dancefloor, not stand there and have to kinda awkwardly look at the people around you while the dj plays something that sounds like a helicopter in a whippit. wawawawawawawa
