Who do you think will make the SB?!

I wouldn't bet on the Chargers, friends. while they are hot right now, this is nothing new to the Chargers. they are always hot come this time of the year.

but they always find a way to choke in the first or second round of the playoffs.

the only way I could kinda see the Chargers making the SB is because the Pittsburgh Steelers probably won't make the playoffs (thanks to Indy) and the New England Patriots just aren't up to their normal snuff. the Steelers and the Patriots absolutely dominate the Chargers year in and year out.

The Chargers WILL NOT make the superbowl. The Colts will win in a narrow victory in the AFC Championship. The NFC will be either N.O. or Philly depending on the weather in the Division games. Super bowl prediction......Colts 28 Philly 17.

and Vikings? hell naw. they are having a serious end of the season meltdown which is nothing new to Brett Favre as of late. Brad Childress is complaining about Favre and his audibles, which is ridiculous because that is what Favre is KNOWN to do. how the hell you cannot win a SB with Adrian Peterson, who could possibly go down as the best back of all time, is way beyond me.

who do I predict to go to the SB? right now I am at a loss for words. if you look in the NFL thread I had a lengthy prediction of Eagles VS Steelers (or Indy). looks like the Steelers might not happen but I still think the Eagles can make some noise with their blitz happy defense and quick scoring offense. if only Andy Reid can get out of the mire of the the NFC Championship game....

that's the easy option. but it never really seems to be the two Number 1 seeds meeting up. actually, I wonder when the last time the two No. 1 seeds have met in the SB was?

in your defense, no two Number 1 seeds have looked this dominant for quite some time. against your statement, the Saints have lost some late season games that really are a tell-all in NFL.

it's all about momentum. right now, the Eagles have a good chunk of it in the NFC. for some reason, I also like Arizona because they have balanced their sweet air attack with a dependable RB in Beanie Wells.

I don't like how the Colts are sitting their starters out. sure, it's Manning and it shouldn't matter because he has seen enough playoff games - but they always seem to lose against a lesser team in the AFC Championship, or prior round. I don't really trust in their new head coach Jim Caldwell yet - but we all know Manning runs that team (at least offensively).

the AFC is hard to call right now. with the Steelers possibly out and the Patriots not prominent, teams like the Colts and Chargers have to be sighing a big collective sigh of relief.

it may be the trendy, idiot proof pick-- but seeing how everybody was doing yoga poses to make an SB with the eagles or the chargers seem like a done deal, i thought i would speak up. ;)

this is the SB I want to see though, two teams I really love to watch. I hope we dont get an arizona in here this year stealing the show.

I can tell you right now that I stand by my last week's assumption that the Vikings are not going to make it to the playoffs. I give Brett Favre mad props for his heart - but if you cannot win a SB with the Vikings (Peterson and that nasty D and O line) than what team can you actually win with?

if the Steelers make the 6th seed, they have a shot at the whole thing because Troy Polamalu would be back. I could see them beating the Patriots, Indy, and San Diego to rematch Arizona (or Philly) in the SB. it could be a fairy tale, but my black and gold have won the SB as a 6th seed before, and while looking worst.

Bengals- it's there destiny this year. With the passing of Vicky Zimmer and Chris Henry, they will have the most inspiration in the playoffs.

And they will beat the Cardinals to win it all!

The Saints have some tricks up their sleeves. Dont be fooled by the last 4 weeks. They are going to fly under the radar.

Dallas vs. San Diego

or

Philadelphia vs. San Diego

New England is the only other team I could see winning the AFC, but I still pick the Chargers this year.

The real SB will be Colts/Bolts in AFC Championship. Cincy looked hot earlier, but Chris Henry will be their P. Burress. In the end, I can't imagine Manning not going back after this season. The loss to the Jets was a good thing. Ask the '07 Pats.
NFC could be Philly. Saints shot their load too early. I'd like to see Favre go back but the Vikes got to get their shit together. NFC is anybody's game... Don't sleep on the Cards.

Prediction IND 23 Phila 17

I always like when the Eagles lose... LOL

everyone here is just picking the teams that they guys on tv are picking. Gee talk about going out on a limb folks!
