Who do you think will make the SB?!

^ yeah, that's my major beef with the Colts VS Saints crowd.

actually, Cinci could make the SB. they have proved at the very least that they are a team that plays tough - runs the ball tough, plays D tough - and those are the two main factors to succeeding in the NFL playoffs.

Eagles vs. Patriots

I'd like to see the Chargers, or even Baltimore if they make it into the playoffs, make it instead of the Patriots.

everyone here is just picking the teams that they guys on tv are picking. Gee talk about going out on a limb folks!
you're building quite a reputation for poking holes in other people's predictions. you were quick to criticise everyone for not picking the browns to beat the steelers. (even though you didn't either). your hindsight is perfect like everybody else's.

so, let's see your superbowl predictions and let's see you put something on the line so that when/if you are incorrect, you pay the price.

or are you all mouth and no trousers?

The best I can do.....cuz alot has changed the last few weeks of the season

Colts/Chargers vs Cowboys/Saints

There's no reason to believe the Colts arent the fav in the AFC.....But they've been living on the edge all year.....The Chargers look VERY strong....Its really a toss up.....Rivers has been lost in the Manning/Brees hoopla.....He's having a killer season!

Cowboys are the hot team right now in the NFC....The Vikes have too many diva issues rite now....My Saints have been riddled by injuries late in the year....esp in the secondary....But I believe this week off will do wonders for them....They'll at least make the NFC champ

I see the NFC playoffs looking like this:

Wildcard
Cowboys over Eagles
Packers over Cards

Divisional
Cowboys over Vikes
Saints over Packers

NFC Champ
Saints over Cowboys

AFC playoffs

Wildcard
Bengals over Jets
Pats over Ravens

Divisonal
Colts over Pats
Chargers over Bengals

AFC Champ
Chargers over Colts

So my final prediction for the Superbowl
Chargers over Saints

Damm Saints let me down :(

i still can't believe the ravens won a playoff game with flacco only completing 4 passes for 30 some yards.

wtf?

surely that'll be a record that goes unbroken.

they can get away with Flacco being an impotent QB this year because their run game and offensive and defensive line is so beastly.

I have to say after wildcard week the team I am most impressed with is the cowboys. They absolutely crushed the passing offence of the eagles which is one of the best in the NFL, and Romo is playing well with many offensive weapons.

I think the cardinals/ravens/jets arent going anywhere after next week but we'll see. Despite their win the cardinals defence played horribly vs the packers, and the jets and ravens are both very one dimensional teams.

The divisional games will eb very interesting, ill probably be wrong about one or more things but thats the fun of the playoffs is seeing upsets in big games like these.

the Ravens one dimensional? that may be the case the entire decade for the Baltimore Ravens, but I would say that they have started proving that they have many more dimensions. they have a three-headed monster at RB and one of the most impressive offensive/defensive lines in the game. in the beginning of the year, Flacco lit it up, and while he hasn't been performing well as of late he still has a deep ball threat. they really only have one good wide receiver and their place kicker does suck - but I don't think you can call the Ravens one dimensional any longer.

damn you for making me stick up for the Ratbirds

They do have excellent linemen and a great running game, but IMO against really good defenses you need to be able to have a threatening passing game or it is too easy to get shut down at the line of scrimmage. Plus last week they went up against what I would consider a neutered pats team with the loss of Welker, and had some big plays on defense early on. Plus the colts have been resting for 2 weeks, and some of their starters have been out for longer than that.

I'm not saying the ravens couldn't go all the way, but Flacco is gonna need to step up big time for that to happen.

Yeah, they're certainly not as 1-D as, say, the Colts...

We'll see if the ravens can bring pressure on manning, but if they cant im predicting the colts will win handily.

the Colts have very little momentum. I think they are going to be upset in the next round, or the next one.

Ok let's try this AGAIN. Vikings/Colts, Vikings take it. Brett Favre wins a ring at age 10,000.

The saints offensive line is too good, they wont let brees get pressured like romo was today. And the saints are playing at home, saints all the way.

I really hope the chargers win today so its chargers/colts in the championship game.

I think the key to this game is the Minnesota Oline and Petersen. If he gets going....its gonna be a LONG day for the Saints.....But if he Saints can keep him in check, I see the Saints winning in a close one....
