Who are you?

I yam wot I yam.

Wow this thread has blown me away. I don't believe I just know that we're all connected to one another and something's I do will go out into the universe and affect others, although I don't know who or how. Didn't Jesus say that not one sparrow falls to earth without the father in heaven knowing about it. That's the connectedness I'm talking about.

I feel that sometimes my light shines brightly to attract like minded people but at others it hardly shines at all and that's when less enlightened beings enter my space.

But I love the thought that I'm a star maker, is that right. I felt very powerful when I read that. And yes, I am the Goddess and she is me. We coexist as without one of us neither would exist at all. I really do feel you Mr. Peabody.

I'm some random mofo trapped in Samsara who will hopefully reach Nirvana
Hey sweet thing, you're already in Nirvana. Don't you think it's a state of mind Just asking. So etimes for no reason a feeling of bliss, pure perfection comes over me. Then it hies, and at other times bliss couldn't be further away and I feel that too. Neither last long. But they both make me feel so powerful as I'm the controller in my own world of my thoughts and feelings. I just have to get the hang of the controls a little better.

It is a state of mind and I can relate as sometimes for no reason at all I have a feeling of bliss, pure perfection come over me, but I'm definitely not in Nirvana  . Like everyone else I'm human, shit happens. Sometimes I feel sad and or angry (the bliss couldn't be further away like you said), sometimes joy and bliss. Feelings are transient and part of being human. They're not gonna stop till I kick the bucket and I'm here for the long haul :p

You're also right about being the controller. You honestly can't control what happens to you but you can control how you respond to it :)

The closest thing to an instruction manual for life that god gave us is our gut feeling/ intuition for whatever situation we find ourselves in life :alien:

Wow, trusting your gut/intuition. You know in the past when my gut has been screaming at me but the feeling is 100% just not what I feel I should do. Every time I ignore it I get it wrong. Every time I trust it I'm always proved correct in that decision to just have faith in my own beliefs. In rehab I was taught that the best way to deal with anything, good or bad was to give it some thought and then act, not react like I used to. I love your philosophy's. They gel with what I believe. Thank you.

However this is a much longer video that was for me quite mesmerizing.
I would like to say Enjoy ... I really did.

Ditto.

What did you conclude?

Are we good, or evil, or both, as our dualistic reality demands of all concepts?

I say that we default to our good side, cooperation and love, and do not go the other way, competition and it's evil, a loser, unless what is love is being jeopardized or needs protecting.

Science has shown this in baby and children experiments.

We default to love so as to make friends so that we can eventually rule over them.

We are all born thinking that we are the best of breed and top of the line and act like it, until proven otherwise.

We used to look for such in religious thinking and the seeking of God, but such Divine Councils no loner exist. Unfortunate that.

I totally agree about the love leading to people pleasing in order for us to control the people around us. Well we are ego based aren't we. I think we have the choice to do, not being, good or bad. It's why we do it, that's what fascinates me. Human nature, or should that be human nurture?

Gnostic Bishop I love the name it reminds me of the Gnostic Gospels that were found quite recently. Well recently compared to the original gospels and when they were written. Does that have anything to do with your choice of username?

I am a child of God.
What is keeping you from adulthood/graduating?

We are to "put away the things of children". No?

Nurture we have changed.

Nature we have not.

We, as a part of nature, are expressed by our DNA and chemistry.

In this we have no choice in the present or past, but can change the future somewhat.

I believe we have no choice in what has happened as it's gone and we don't know what the future holds for us, do we? The only thing we have any control of is this second. And now it's gone. That's our power source, the here and now. That's what we have a choice over. What do you think?

Ps. I like to think that I have a childlike innocence to my personality at times. Unfortunately I allow grown up stuff prevent my inner child from coming out to enjoy her life as often as she could do.

Love this.

I will will recognize your brightness if you see Satan as she is. The heroine of Adam and Eden.

Women, thank all the Gods and Goddesses, are the root of all evil, for a species that competes and is is hierarchical like ours.

This is why Yahweh gave her a greater power of deception than his own. Being androgynous, I think Yahweh split from Satan the way Eve split from Adam. A God only lowers his power to a wife.

Please Google and note Satan's gender in The Expulsion painting in the Vatican.

You might be sorry you asked.

Let me speak to the lie of Gnostic Christians hating matter.

I wrote this to refute the false notion that Gnostic Christians do not like matter and reality that the inquisitors propagated to justify their many murders of my religion’s originators.

The Gnostic Christian reality.

Gnostic Christian Jesus said, "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all.

[And after they have reigned they will rest.]"

"If those who attract you say, 'See, the Kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you.

If they say to you, 'It is under the earth,' then the fish of the sea will precede you.

Rather, the Kingdom of God is inside of you, and it is outside of you.

[Those who] become acquainted with [themselves] will find it; [and when you] become acquainted with yourselves, [you will understand that] it is you who are the sons of the living Father.

But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty."

As you can see from that quote, if we see God's kingdom all around us and inside of us, we cannot think that the world is anything but evolving perfection. Most just don't see it and live in poverty. Let me try to make you see the world the way I do.

Here is a mind exercise. Tell me what you see when you look around. The best that can possibly be, given our past history, or an ugly and imperfect world?

Candide.
"It is demonstrable that things cannot be otherwise than as they are; for as all things have been created for some end, they must necessarily be created for the best end.”

That means that we live in the best of all possible worlds, because it is the only possible world, given all the conditions at hand and the history that got us here. That is an irrefutable statement given entropy and the anthropic principle.
