I feel that all drugs, everything from chocolate to coca leaves to ketamine... legalized.
Of course, there should be the same provisos for purchasing drugs that there are for purchasing alcohol (age and so forth) and possibly some proviso that you have to have a criminal record that has no offences based on consumption of that drug. For example, if you have an incidence on your criminal record where your were arrested for assault while under the influence of meth, than no more meth for you. Theoretically, this could also keep people who from misbehaving too badly, under threat of terminating their "Right to Buy" drug liscence that you may apply for on your 18th birthday (using peoples habits to further the public good, how cheerful

) And, if you were a *relatively* good, responsible adult individual, the whole modern pharmacopeia would be open to you at LOW, LOW PRICES!

Ahh, in a perfect world...
Also, for lots interesting facts regarding that bit of gifted idiocy known as the "War on Drugs", read "Under the Influence" by Preston Peet. Lots of good info w/ sources, I bought a copy at Borders recently for $3.99 (whoops, I forgot we're not supposed to discuss prices... oh well

)
"It is not drugs that can be abused, but people."
