When you wake up in the morning, what gets you going?

If I have any opiates and I dont have to work that day I like to set my alarm really early like 7:00am then wake up take a shot and nod back off untill like 2:00. But If I dont have any opiates then I settle for a shower and glass of Ice water.

15mg hydrocodone saving 5mg for a lil later

yes yes interesting thread...well for me it is like this....

Ideal morn: 3 cups of way to strong devil coffee(Starbucks)
with too many cigs

a good ol dose of 20 mg oxycodone, hell even hydrocodone will do8)

maybe 1mg xanax or 10mg valium as well, and a bowl of the greeny-greens..

today: i had the coffee...i had the smokes..i had .5mg of xany...in my last cup o' joe i will add the secret ingredient MOTHER"S MILK!..good ol' liquid THC extract made with milk and love..perfect compliment to a good flavored coffee...and give ya that get up and go...

off to shower and get on to work...damn

when you have a methadone habit you cant really say "oh i think i will leave it till later" or you'll be having a very sick day indeed. Remember we dont all go around in a fucked up void. I get to work at 7:30am and havent ever been later in 5 yrs. I live a normal life and have a mortgage, fiance etc. So dont presume we are all fucked up.

And before you say it. it isnt that simple to just stop, i have been this way on/off 15 yrs,its just about the only drug that stops hypomania in me and helps me live a normal life.

...actually, drugs (caffeine, some light opiates, a small bowl of ganja, my 1st dosage of a benzo- right now Ativan, and an english muffin or something w/ my vitamin) help me deal w/ shit throughout the day...got me through school, gets me to work (usually on time...), and I generally just function better as a productive member of society this way. Otherwise I'm a useless, scatterbrained blob...:\

Like, ebeneezer said, some of us need it to function properly.

It completely depends on the day:
if I have no opiates i will try to sleep as long as possible and not have A THING til i find some opiates.

On a day with opiates i roll outta bed and have a nice shot of H, or an 80 of OC, then I have a Krispy Kreme Donut, I like Starbucks Frappucino in the bottles, and then 2 newports right in a row

Today:
1 Newport
2mg Xanax
35mg Oxycodone Via 5/325 perks
Krispy Kreme Glazed Donut
Orange Juice
Another Cigarette and a nice sit by the lake, usually fish a few casts too.
Saved 15mg oxy for a lil bitty later.

I'm a health freak, and I have half a lemon squeezed in lukewarm water, followed by an apple or anything raw (fruit/veg) that's around.

A little later I have whatever's convenient and there... could be wholemeal buckwheat pasta or some grains (quinoa, millet, brown rice...)

and, currently, my beloved maca :)
 
roll outta bed and search where I hide my pills from the nite before. (B/c I took like 8mg of Xanax) Find the hydros and blast off, then drive an hour almost to work

it varies, but usually something like this

wake up
piss
drink some Limeade or Lemonade
hot shower
couple bong hits
homeade bacon, egg, cheese (yes i make one everyday)
couple more bong hits
 
Chemicals (Rx and OTC):

450 mg Wellbutrin XL
10 mg methylphenidate
(on days when I have not slept all night, or only slept 3 hrs, 200 mg modafinil)
multivitamin, vit. E, dehydroepiandosterone, Ca++/Mg++/Zn++, Omega 3,6,9 lipid supplement

Other:

Shower, coffee (0.5 L Starbucks Iced), 1 Camel Light


Caffeine, methylphenidate, nicotine and bupropion--four types of stimulant and I'm ready to go.
 
Currently:
1mg buprenorphine .25mg naloxone nasally
600mg N-Acetyl-Tyrosine
sometimes 500mg DLPA and 200mg ibuprofin too (if I hurt)
1-2mg dexedrine (on days where I NEED it)
800-1600mg piracetam and/or 500mg aniracetam
250mg choline
Some bottled water
Cat licking my face

Sometimes I drink a big fat scoop of protein powder in milk rather than deal with the amino acids (they are a pain to injest)

Whenever I am asleep and dream that I am in heaven (usually after turning off my alarm a couple times):
4mg hydromorphone nasally (dilaudid)
20mg oxycontin orally
after those kick in, 1-2mg d-methamphetamine orally
scoop of dynamize elite rich chocolate protein powder (damn that stuff is tasty)
 
Am I the only one that finds it funny that a lot of us take all kinds of healthy stuff right alongside our recreational drugs? Almost seems like an oxymoron...

Anyways....

I like to have a bowl of honeycomb or applejacks and a yummy glass of juice after a hot shower.
(this is on a good day)

On a normal day, I am already running five minutes late for class or work and don't get to eat or drink anything! Barely enough time to shower (cold water of course), get dressed, and brush my teeth.

But, on a really good day when there is no class or work, I like to sleep late and have breakfast and a shower, and then an itty bitty line of coke for a pick me up to make my day off extra-sunshiney :D !
 
My mornings consist of...

my cat meowing in my face or laying next to me pawing my head until I get up. Feed him, greet my bunny give her treats.

Can of coke drink at least 2 cans.

Chain smoke cigs.

Pop my hydrocodone 7.5 followed by another 2 mgs about a 1/2 hour after.

Then off to shower and all that stuff to leave. I takes me a full 3 hours to get moving like I am alive.

I never eat in the morning either. I just can't look at food in the am for some reason.
