Yeah, I've never found it helpful to try and make significant changes in my life right off the tail end of the holidays which are a massive bachanal for me. It just doesn't seem feasible.
That's why I always just toss out aspirations that can be got to at some point in the future, if possible.

I'd completely forgotten this post and today made a belated New Years resolution to practice much better self care this year...
