I havn't experimented around with many drinks. Does anyone have any suggestions of what tastes good & what's good to mix it with to water it down?
Vodka & Coke is good. 1/4 Vodka 3/4 Coke.
Any suggestions of what I should try next time im out drinking?
 
Vodka+lemonade, lemon lime and bitters= good
bourbon+coke= the shit!

vodka and coke!?!?!? never tried that!

Coopers pale ale (green)
Southern comfort + lemonade
Bacardi +lemonade
Jim beam + lemonade
Absinthe (melting sugar method) - always have a bottle of this for special occasions.

Any light coloured spirit equally mixed with orange juice and lemonade
 
VB!! Of course!

But if I'm in the money, and sick of VB (yes it happens, rarely, but it does :P) maybe Stella, Coopers Pale or Sparkling (though Pale is better!), or Boags.

A must however - a few shots of Tequila before I go out - always gets me all warm n fuzzy, and pumped for a great night =)

My friends don't call me "Tequila Maniac" for nothing! :)

What is a _good_ light beer ??? I get off my P's in a week and would prefer to be able to drink a few more beers when I drive - if I can find something I enjoy...

If you're somewhere remotely decent, and want a drink that you can keep drinking all night, you can't go past Vodka, Soda, Fresh Lime.

If you're after something with a little bit of bite, then Scotch and Dry is one of my favourites. This is definitely not the drink for everyone though.

Of course, several beers first is always a good start :)

My favourite drink by itself is Frangelico, just over ice.

My favourite Cocktail is a Pina Colada

2 cups coconut milk
3 cups pineapple juice
2 cups crushed pineapple
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 cup rum, preferably dark (eg, Bundy)
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Blend in batches using a blender. Serve over ice.

Secret part : whizz in a few strawberries or mango....*mmm*

Vodka, Blue Curacao, Midori, Contreau 2:2:2:1 ratio + pineapple juice, watermelon and crushed ice.

The drink that I like in that state is Wild Turkey and Cola it certainly warms up the body.

When I did the bar course I've dine I really liked the Pina Colada too.
 
i dont really like Southern comfort .. but

my mate mixed up a Lemonade 3/4 + 1/4 southern for me the other day and it was spankin good :)

also vodka and solo/lift is bloody lovely :)
 
Strawberry Daiquiri

but i have no idea how to make it. the secret is having chocolate syrup decorating the glass and making sure the ice is small enough to suck through the straw :)
 
Most expensive drink I ever bought accidentally: Double Vodka + Midori + Pineapple Juice = $16.00 (Carlton Crest hotel in about 1996). Refrained from buying any further rounds of those... was tricked by a bar chick in Wagga who introduced me to the drink and was charging $6 for them. Long story.

Alcohol makes long stories happen.

Bacardi and lemonade is always the thing i drink when im out after a couple beers.
Vodka + midori + pineappe juice is really nice aswell.
