What's worst about the USA

1. Pure ethanol is hard to find and is expensive
2. GBL is illegal
3. Fat bitches EVERYWHERE, from all the McD/KFC junk-shit
4. 3.0 or 4.0 l engines but at the same time they have very little horsepower compared to their size. Also they use lots of gasoline, not economic. And most of all - the size of most of those Chevrolets,Oldsmobiles etc. Why the fuck are they twice the size of normal european/japanese car?
5. and the worst thing about USA : its this "how are you - I'm fine thanks, and how are you? I'm fine thanks" chats. Fake laughs, and fake chit-chats, "artificial" smiles - makes me sick. I mean, it is VERY common in US, I'm not saying that it doesnt exist in Europe, but not at that scale.
6. Most Americans don't know jackshit where are located countries of outside the North America. I mean, they memorize all of their states, but yet they can't point where Lebanon, or Slovakia, or Egypt is. Fucking dumbasses :D

I probably forgot few points , but im high now so ill leave it as this.
 
Most of you are making some irrational generalizations of the country and it's people. I can agree with some of you that our government and their policies suck, but most open minded people think this way. Not all americans are fat and stupid, the ones in rural areas are worthless though,

Now, just to make myself feel a little better, all of you non-americans should start kissing a litlle more ass. Without some of the brilliant minds that came from the US none of you fucks would have the luxary of the internet, let alone a computer to stare at. A short list of the things that we created to make your lame-ass lives a little more peachy.

TV and the only decent tv shows.
Apart from some good foreign films, hollywood and cinema as you ppl know it.
Along w/ Japan(who we made into a dominant country after blowing them to shit) most of the technology that has helped so many lives.
Most of the revolutionary modern music(apart from maybe england)

Not only is the US one of the youngest countries but also the most richest and powerful so blah...show some respect. End drug-fueled rant.

First off smart guy, I said "white bread", not "breed." It's just a stupid expression, but thanks for trying to paint me as a fucking racist.

Second, I don't know out of which of your five asses you pulled that little "foriegn nationals" factoid from, but it had nothing to do with what I meant.

I wasn't talking about descendants of European settlers who now call themselves "Americans" vs. people that are freshly immigrated.

I was talking about the original Americans, the ones that are pretty much extinct. There is simply no comparison between "foriegn nationals in EU countries" and remaining Native Americans.

The European exploitation of the Americas gave a lot to American culture. It pretty much overwhelmed it. Let me add to Harry's list of all the wonderful things Europe has given the Americas.
*Christianity
*Alcohol
*Capitalism, Colonialism, Comercialism, Consumerism.
*Redefined the words "greed" and "gold fever".
*Introduced highly complex systems of slavery.
*Introduced some really bizarre forms of sexual deviance.
*Small pox
*Firearms

BTW Nice list of things you think europe gave the USA. I count four things which came from the middle east, one from Africa and two from Asia. And 'greed' which one can debate where it originated but can not argue that it has reached its most pure form in the US of A.

As far as my list goes: it doesn't matter where all that stuff originated. Who were the people propogating it all? Who brought it all to "the new world"? All those African and Arab pilgrams/explorers/slave traders? Gimme a break.

Well it was a simple joke and I don't care what you think my motives were. I also don't see how me getting called nasty names is "having my points ripped to shreds".

Oh yeah nailz it was a real shocker to come in here and see the classic line up of BLers (European or not) picking apart American culture and using the US as a scapegoat for all the planet's ills. 8(

Even if you do believe that the Americas and it's people are the purveyors of all that is evil, you can't deny that it all started somewhere. America was not Eden, we didn't all spring from Adam's rib. All of America's horrible habits were learned. (mostly from our European "forefathers").

Seriously, you guys want to look at the negatives of American culture, but not some of thier sources. You are all overstaing the differences between Europe and the Americas while glossing over the overwhelming similarities.

You can't abuse a child and then hate him when grows up to be a psycho.

...but as a metaphor for the historical relationship between Europe and North and South America and the subsequent formation of modern American culture? Most definately.

I did read your posts Red Arrow and that's why I was so distressed to have you be one of the first people to jump on the "Malice is an ignoramus with crackhead ideas" dogpile.

I'm not an old glory waving redneck, but I do still take some pride in being an American (of European ancestory, a little Native American, but predominately European.). The same way that all of you should take pride in your particular heritages.

I actually really like all the people that I've been arguing with. Nailz, Harry, Red. I think you've all contributed a lot of great stuff to BL and are shining examples of BL moderators.

That being said, maybe I'll just stay the fuck out of EDD. Exspressing my views isn't worth risking alienating myself from some of BL's best contributors.

Why should we take pride in that? It's nothing we have done is it? It's childlish to complain of americans as there are millions of intelligent ones out there - remember that most US voters did NOT vote for Bush.

The only thing about them that are galling is that when all your kids have been molested, your parents tortured to death, your wife raped and strangled, you yourself broke, out of work and homeless, some yank will tell you that "EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE JUST FINE"
 
im in the US at the mo, well, hawaii (so most of its GREAT!) BUT one thing that bugs me is they have signs saying NO THIS, NO THAT - EVERYWHERE. land of the free huh? hmm. appart from that.. i met a few calforneeuns who couldnt believe that people still pronounce vitamin VIT-A-MIN instead of VYE-TA-MIN. i told one lady that's how you pronounce it in ENGLISH which is where AMERICAN ENGLISH came from and see just balcked me. bitch!!

I know all about the language gap between English and American! My pet hate is the way that (some) North Americans don't pronoun the 'H' in 'herb'. Especially when they start talking about cooking. For some reason people saying "I can really taste the erbs in this food" is more annoying than people "We spent last night puffing da erb"....
