My carefully executed expairment to test this theory put Kadin and Duragesic at the same time (with a splash of diazepam) ... overall, I'd say it's rather decent combo if you're looking to pull a 'Heavens Gate' on your own scale .. as for worst? something like a perma-STP or 5-MeO-DMT until you die ...

one night i think i took bwtween 6-10 20 mg adderall pills( i had a tolerance by this time, use to be an amphetamine whore), becuase i was cramming for a huge exam... well i at one point started getting dizzy and hyperventalating... then i started the shakes and i was really cold but hot, my joints ached and i felt like complete shit, i started to not be able to see and started pukeing bile from the stomach, because i hadnt eaten for a couple days. My lips were cold but my whole body was burning hot, then i realised i overdosed and i was really scared so i got a huge thing of water, saltines, my vitamins and some peanut butter.. I sat in my room awake all night eating and drink water (sipping of course) i was so scared to fall asleep and have a stroke or something, since then i havent really done any stimulants- it was just a scary moment and i dont want to put myself in danger like that again.. Id say oding on a stimulant... IMO

ive experienced 2 overdoses in my life now....
Meth and GHB, although it was probably 1,4B. im in melbourne so yeah.
the meth was fucking horrible.
G overdose was the worst untill i just slipped out of consiousness. chucking and convulsing .etc. then i woke up like 30 hours later (thankfully)
im not ready to leave this life. i want to experience life to its fullest.
to anyone else here who has overdosed. do u think coming close to death opens your eyes to life?

I have OD'ed on many substances, the worst would probably have to be Meth...that only happened after smoking nearly 2 grams of Glass with only a moderate tolerance.

The best would have too be opiates(excluding codiene)...

Since very LARGE amounts of lsd would be consumed it would be digested or absorbed very quickly if you were to drink a cup of powerful LSD. So I think this is true that you would prolly start tripping 5min after you drank your cocktail.

i ingested a large amount of lsd once and was tripping by the time i opened the bathroom door approx 2 mins later, one of the scariest times of my life, thought i had overdosed and was going to die...

needless to say ive given up psychadelics since

i overdosed on mdma bout 10 yrs ago, blacked out dont remember a thing except waking up 30 mins later shaking uncontrollably in a mad panic, ahh them were the days %)

I od'ed on coke and alcohol before and it was not bad at all. I had a seizure and everything but I dont remember it, just waking up surrounded by cops and my heart beating through my chest.

PhreeX is right on with the 5-meo-dmt. I after mixing this oraly with syrian rue(an maoi) I spent about two hours dry heaving and spazming. I couldn't walk or see for shit and felt my heart racing out of my chest. I was also taking ICE COLD showers and still felt hot. This lasted untill I whited out in the shower. I was conciously giving myself a 50/50 chance of living as I was passing out. In about 5 minutes I came to and was fine. I should point out that if a hospital had been an option, I would have gone. But what would a third world hospital that is two hous away going to do for me?

Basically the only time ive seriously overdosed and required hositalization was when i was dumb, and one night with a friend ate about 2 and a half 4oz bottles to myself of dxm, about 10-20 Gravol pills cant remember exactly and before taking anything i had drank from a large cup of coffee so i had a pretty high heart rate to start with. Anyways that night i was seriously fucked up, delirium, i was seeing characters from tv like Freddy Kruger in my basement. After about 2 hours or so at most i was taken to the hospital, there i was ovisouly in complete delerium, and was taken in the room put on a bed and they didnt want to pump my stomach because it was too later for that so they had to put me on an IV of charcoal? a chemical which helps your body expell whats in your blood stream faster. I was fighting the nurses when she came to IV me they lost the needle in my arm. It was quite messy the whole situation, tough i couldnt feel nothing oviously and didnt even remember this part until i was told about it from witnesses in the room with me the next day. In the hospital, i still thought and believed i was in my basement at home, to give you an idea of how i was.
The only other times which ive 'overdosed' were with narcotics, however i am more firm to believe they werent really overdoses but more of high dosages. Ive had troubles one time on 40mg of oxycontin eaten crushed and marijuana smoked throughout the time each potentating each other most likley, and i got the usuall narcotic sickness when youve had too much. Thats about it.

I dumped a gram and a half of really good coke in some coffee once and was convinced I was gonna have a heart attack.

Like you say though, it wasn't really bad at all. I felt incredible even with a stupidly high heart rate - I kept taking my pulse and looking at the clock but refused to take it long enough to work out my bpm's, in case I freaked out.

I made a few phone calls to friends along the lines of, 'dont freak out but I think I OD'd on coke' but the majority of the time I was telling them how 'fucking amazing' I felt and that I was invincible. I was sweating like a bitch, my facial expressions were straight from the school of gurnsville and I was heavy breathing like a pervert on a cell phone!

I would definitely RECOMMEND it as a method of suicide (nb - regarding 'harm reduction', I'm only saying it would be better than a lot of things, I still do not recommend suicide to anyone - why die before trying all the 'great' and the 'big name' drugs!).

I do think the exactl definition of "overdose" is being lost or people are ignorate of what exaclty constitutes an "overdose" .. are you talking about taking too much and having a bad trip? Or are you taling like a life-threatening OD? With something like cocaine or any amphetamine, you truely "OD" when you have a heart attack, with psychedelics, you can end up having a bad trip off a small dose, while someone else may be just fine off a dose many times what you took.... so are you talking about a psychosomatic over-dose in the sense you took too much and are now having a shitty time (it may feel like yer going to die) or an OD in the physical sense of "took too much and are about to die"?

IV charcoal? No, maybe orally as it basically binds to the drug and is either vomited or will be passed thru the GI system without the drug being absorbed ... they might have given you something else IV ... and losing the needle in your arm? Um, so where is it now? It's not like a nurse would somehow "lose a needle" (shit, the only way that would really happen is if you somehow were able to break it and I think you'd tear your arm up before that) ... sorry, yer story just sounds a little "off" and while they might have given you charcoal it was oral .. something like, um, Physostigmine, Ativan (if you're seizing) .. maybe even nitroprusside ... but charcoal IV? I strongly do not encourage ANYONE try to fix a DXM OD by booting activated charcoal, then agian, if yer taking DXM and Gravol tabs for yer evening fun, shit, might as well throw in some milk and mouthwash in the syringe ...

just realised my own post might've sounded a little like I believed an overdose was just taking more than was enjoyable.

I've always felt that if you actually OD, you take enough of the drug to kill you directly (I'm not classing people falling down stairs, etc.) and you only LIVE if you were saved by someone else or yourself.
