What's the story behind your nickname - part III

Years ago, when i first joined the only online game i have ever participated in, Dominion, i had to come up with a name for both my Lord and my Domain. So i was Lord Librarian of LSpace, naturally inspired by Terry Pratchett. Plus, with LSpace being a dimension of infinite size and knowledge, and knowledge equally power, it seemed a rather cocky name for myself. And, ever since then, it's always been LSpace. None of my REAL nicknames are any good.
 
what can I say....practically perfect in every way....emphasis on the practically....

I love the movie, love the character....and love her credos.

My nickname use to be "Shalidar" - I've had this nick since I can remember and now shortended it to "shal" - It has no real meaning, I just like the name. I won't change it ever now :)

i'm a dreamer, i <3 my zzzzZZZ, and as i was looking round my room for inspiration i spotted a poster i have on my wall for a rave i went to back in the day 'dreamtime creation' and whola!
 
my nickname is a fucking embaressment. i logged in as this many years ago when i was high on PLUR and the rage scene ... u may bag me out as much as you please cos i dunno how to change it :(
 
^ Haven't seen you around in a while! Unfortunately you can't change it [unless you're 'special' or suck admin dick] so you're just going to have to let us laugh and maybe throw things at you. You could create another account though if you really wanted.

Well i was bored one day, and a mate said hey, don't u think this is a cool name for a diablo ii character... and i just liked it and it stuck..
 
Mine is just my real name being censored out...

Mine is a mixture of 2 people actually..........

When I first got connected to the net years ago, my mate and I found a site where we could play cards against people all over the world so we had to choose a name.........well we both wanted to play and so we put our 2 names together...........well my nick which is Mazza and his name ...Dan..........and to this day we have continued to use it in different places on the net so chances are u will run into one of the 2 of us somewhere..........maybe even playing ps2.lol.
 
Xherrus is a name I made up for someone in high school whose last name was Xu.
Xu --> Xherrus in the same way as Shit --> Shizzle; it's an infix.
Also the "-us" at the end gives it a Latin feel. So I started calling myself Xherrus on the internet, and the rest is history.
 
I was sittin' there goin' "hmmm" then I was like "shit i'm killin' time" and then I was like "wow, i'm Killing_time" and thus it stuck.
I must say it was one of my creative moments, quite impressed with myself really... and it's gone.

Actually, i tried for Magentis, which is a name i made up when i was being an idiot (how out of character) ... just called myself Trentis Magentis ... and it stuck.

Sounds latin ... sounds scientific ... sounds like a loser kid with not much to do each day.

of course;Magentis was taken, which shocked me cause thats never happened before ... so i tried using all my old passwords with it, none of them worked so i got pissed off and sat for 3 hrs trying to think of a creative name .... I never really was that creative.

P.S if anyone knows of a Magentis ... please inform me ... i wish to be the only one and I will go to any length to keep it that way.

Kinda like the B-Sharps less and less funier as you hear it

It would appear you have gained some kind of power not unlike Unsquare's telekenisis (sp)... when will I recieve some of these mystical powers.

There are 2 famous horses called 'Carbine' - one was a famous racehorse, the other a stunning black Hanovarian warmblood stallion recently imported to Australia (every girl's dream horse!).

Also, the Sex Pistols are my favourite band, so ya know - Carbine...gun...pistol...
