What's the best party you have been to??

Most of the parties i have been to have had elements that have kinda soured the night (bad dj, bad pill, bad organisation etc)...but i'll try, sigh =D

- Sunshine People....lots of probs with logistics, pass outs, heat, no shade, lights, boat etc...but dj's kicked ass, crowd was great (except the OD mid avo), met lotsa people...brilliant day...brilliant day...

- TT2003....altho it has been established that there were many probs with this party, i seemed to avoid them all, and it was my 1st rave and my 1st pill...happy memories of AvB + Speedy J :)

- WOTW 03....all over a great great night....highlight of the night was actually the morning...Master Kaos's morning set was fucking brill...

hmmm probably Muzikal Kloudz 4 in August of 2002 ... just had an awsum night and walked out of that party with the biggest smile on my face! also Rush hour in June 2001 is also rateable cos 1) it was my first party and 2) had the fucking sickest night there as well! ...

Utopias are also good parties but i dunno ... i think im over-utopia-ized haha ive been to like 12-13 utopia/powerhouse events over the past years and fuck im just getting over the false hype .... must say they crank out a wikkid sound system and visual set up tho!

New Years Eve '03 on Ko Phan Ngan island, Thailand.

This was such an incredible night for me for so many reasons. The music was incredible, the surroundings were awesome and I think dancing with a gorgeous brazillian babe just as there was a beach-long countdown and fireworks going off was a total highlight.

Good friends, unbelievable surroundings and the tail end of a 2 month trip made this party so much better than anything I had ever been to before.

Another awesome part waas when Patricia (gorgeous brazilian) led me into a club away from the main strip along the beach and we sat around in this tiny room with a bunch of other travellers smoking spliffs. Somehow bongo drums were issued out and we had this 10 person bongo drum session with the DJ above us mixing and scratching his music in time to match our bongo-jam.

I WILL be there for NYE again within the next 2 years. I love Party Island.
 
all you people have been to really great parties...if only i had the money..

i think the best party i've been to so far is Dreamscape 2003 :) awesome night

Hardware 7 - Sven Vath 8 hour set - 2nd Sept 95
The First Belfast party 7 April 95
Hardware 10.2 - 7th Dec 96 - This was Hardware 10.2 - originally it was meant to be 18+ but after an outcry it was changed to all ages & it was decided from then on that the Belfast parties would be 18+

The very first Kryal Castle party Dec 9 1994 - because it was original and the dickhead factor was non existant.

Genesis - NYE 1995 - the first time Melbourne's 3 major promotors put on a party together @ the old Global Village.

Carl Cox @ Pure (rear of the Palace) - Jan 1994, the first time I saw someone use 3 decks.... still stands out 10 years later!

Where the Wild Things are - around March 95? - Global Village with Derrik May.

Welcome 2000 - Jeff Mills & C J Bolland + Y2K + Sheds 2 & 4

It's getting hard to remember some of the old parties, there have been so many....... I will add more as they come to mind

Rainbow Serpant 2003.... totally an awesome experience, a rollercoaster ride of emotions, drugs, awesome fucking music, and best of all- great people. Lasting friendships formed...

Celestial circus march 03- magical magical magical party.

Utopia 02... lol... just cuz it was loads of fun- awesome times with some lasting friends also.

Wow there would be so many parties... just dont have time to think of em all

Well, like most people, my first event was pretty memorable...*Slinky '01*, but not necessarilly the best one I have attended.

I really enjoyed *NRG 5 '02* [that was such a happy, colourful, bouncy, *don't-give-a-fuck event. =D

Also really liked *Hardware Universe '01*, more for sentiment than anything else. ;)
 
I guess I havent really been around the party seen for X amount of years, but Id have to say, Function room @ twotribes 2003 with me rocking to speedy J, best memory as of yet.
 
Hyperactive Nights II last year was the best party of any kind (rave, birthday, NYE, whatever) I've been to.

Underground warehouse party that got busted during setup, found another warehouse *that afternoon*, moved the whole thing over, and went on to become a legendary night that people are still talking about even though there's been another Hyperactive since then.

Just one of those things... the air was right, the people were playful, and the organisers and DJs could do no wrong. Word got out, people from all over kept turning up throughout the night and joining the dancing mass. We all got filthy black with warehouse grot and nobody cared.

It was just... electricity.

ive had so many good times at so many different places but i would def. still stick to the best party as

Heckmann, Hawtin and a nice de bang de funk set in the morning *drool*
