What's the best party you have been to??

i never get bored of this thread (every time it pops up, as it does fairly frequently... ) nice to see the events ppl come up with, and i like to remember them if i attended them :)

i wanna add the last belfast at the sheds, and the first belfast at QBH.

the last one at the sheds was special cuz the music just blew me away, it was the first oldskool party i'd been to and i heard songs i hadnt heard since the late '80s. i was stoked, although *freezing*

the first one at QBH was special cuz of the sheer quantity of the friends who were there, and the vibe, music, lasers, pills, everything that night was absolutely perfect. i cant believe i forgot to add this to my list.

...and while we're on Fathom/PSB, Depth Charge was a bit of a baptism of fire too!
 
Depth charge fair rocked and was the one of the best things i went to in the city (that isn't sunny) due to the nature of the crowd. My personal favourite was dancing in socks on carpet with Ferris playing upstairs. Was in heaven!

However, for WT2 wins for being "best", whereas DC was more, "most relaxed". Am holding out high hopes for PSB to come back with WT3, will be amusing to see how they do for numbers, as WT2 was *way* over estimates, whereas DC was way under :)

First up was Treakle's set
a storm of drum & bass
He worked the crowd into a frenzied mob!
the beats were dark & sexy
shook the entire place
twas gonna be one real hard act to top..
The challenger Akira
A psy-trance set divine!
the crowd lit up by sparklers from Miss Flea
one look around the dancefloor
and the groovers feeling fine
And you knew Akira's magic had been weaved..
And finally Neurotic!
with gabba all the way
this set was for the diehard country crew
the stomping could be heard
from a kilometre away
these Bluelighters - they sure know what to do
If you came up to the afters
you were in for a real treat
a hundred happy campers on the hill
One Tripper of a Mum!
We thought that she was neat!
What? No one offered Margaret a pill?
Elsewhere a spa was humming
and a trashed nang-fest delight
with Jakoz, Primus, El, Tab, Adam Brown...

We're holding Wild Things 3 at the Hi-Fi Bar (July 18), which holds only 900 people. We'd love to fill it, but as long as there's a good crowd there we could care less :)

Our parties are about quality, not quantity. We'll leave the quantity to other bigger promoters.

My 7th birthday was pretty rockin' but other then that....

Field Day 2002 - The memory of star_beats and I on the dance floor for Freestylers will stay with me forever [I hope].

Autumn Breaks 2002 [star_beats.. was it Autumn Break that we met up with Mark and Andy? And was it Soul of Man? I can't remember now! Damn that was a good night.]

Winter Breaks [krafty kuts] 2002 - One of the only parties where I've been so excited and in such a good mood I wanted to scream.

Utopia July 2002 - Just because I made some very cool friends that night.

Jurassic 5 2003 - Absolutely blew my mind. They exceeded all my expectations and put on the best show I've ever seen.

Summer Breaks Boxing Day 2003 - I hadn't had a good time out at a breaks event in aaaaages and this day restored my faith.

Field Day 2004 - What can I say. Best friends, great tunes, friendly crowd, great drugs, perfect weather. Does it get any better?
