What's so great about New Jersey?

In my original post I forgot to mention how malls and the state of Florida are considered sacred Holy Lands to NJ people. In the winter, when there isn't shit to do and you obviously can't go to the shore, everybody and their mama runs to the mall and kick it there like it's a club or some shit. And as for Florida, people in NJ love it so much because of it's great weather, although other than weather I've heard terrible things about Florida. Never been there myself so I can't call it.

Ive been living in NJ for 22 years and running. I live in Monmouth county...probably the richest county in NJ. I am middle class, 5 minutes away there are mulit million dollar homes.

Average Whiteboy summed it up perfectly. If you have kids, NJ is a great place to raise a family. If you are single and looking to buy a first home, NJ isnt for you. Property tax is probably the highest in the US along with real estate. Also, Car insurance is absolutely horrible. Not worth moving here until you are 25.

Overall prices for real estate in Jersey are just slightly under those of California so it's pretty damn expensive to buy a house in both states. And you're dead right about the car insurance. Highest rates in the nation!

I lived in Monmouth County for a year, man. It wasn't too bad. Mostly upper middle class, white people though. Not enough diversity for me. On a daily basis 90% of the people I saw were white, unless I was in Asbury Park. In California, whites make up less than 50% of the total state's population, so obviously I'm used to seeing all types of people.

No way that monmouth cty is the richest in NJ.

it maybe up there, but think of places like Alpine and shit. shit, well tru that Rumson is in monmouth aint it.

I guess now tha ti think about it i cant call it, since most every RICH TO THE RICH place in Jerz is in the same county as a ghetto ass city so it blanaces out....

I wonder what the richest is.
i would guess Cape May county because everywhere there that i been was nice as hell and its all vacation and touristy with the cute lil victorian houses and shit.....but who knows. i dont know south jerz that well and north is a 50 50 between rich and 'aint got shit'

Yea monmouth has rumson/fairhaven, redbank (biggest houses in NJ off the navesink), holmdel, manalapan.

aight after some Google, Nope, its Bergen County.

Actually i found out its also THE FIFTH RICHEST COUNTY in the COUNTRY, lol.

Damnnnnn. big money there. now that i think of it bergen is really the only "unblemished" ( 8( ) county here that i can think of, rich ass yuppies.

NO WAIT, lol.

I just searched again and now its tellin me that its Hunterdon County. the average income there is OVER $90,000 a year!!!!! DAMN.

Well who knows for sure.

Ahhh dont ride my (nonexistent) dick. LOL. homie i do roll a good blunt but just cuz im the only one like me on here (well aside from a couple other heads), dont mean im something special.
im just the only one you talk to if you had talked to people rollin thru Brick City it would most likely be alot like talking to me.... dont feel me just becuz im different than what you know....

Anyways you pretty right about the sticking together in the suckage thing lol.

New Jersey can’t even do gambling right. Sure there are casinos in Atlantic City, but are there hot sluts willing to work your nuts? Are there mint drugs being sold for under market price? No. <---- from the link.

Ya damn retards, are you fuckin insane or you just straight up stupider than a brain damaged aborted embryo? If you cant find sluts, hoes, skeezers, chickenheads, hookers, strippers, or prostitutes ranging from high-grade to dirty gutter slut in atlantic city maybe you are missin something - eyes.

and dont get me started on the drugs son. its called goddamn WALK JUST TWO BLOCKS FROM THE CASINOS AND ITS ALL THERE MAN! lol.

Well, I can't roll a blunt, tried and fucked it up. My cheap ass only uses bowls because I don't like to waste. Although a good J once in awhile is nice. And I Am serious about the ghetto thing. I haven't communicated with anyone else who lives in such a climate. I know the wealthier New Jersey natives. Its quite refeshing to read what you write as well as you are intelligent. Many "intelligent" things I hear people say are just verbal vomit of some liberal cause or professor they take as their own. While these may be intelligent ideas that require some intelligence to comprehend and defend, it isn't as special as many people think. Your (Lacey) posts have original thought and show intelligence.

As for the AC thing, a good friend of mine went to AC high school and from what I have heard its unavoidable to miss the drugs/hookers in that area.

Ok so there is this kid who just moved across the street from me and is from New Jersey. All he fucking talks about is how "hard" New Jersey is, about all the murders there and all the beautiful women that live there. He likes to say
"Ohio ain't shit, boy", when I mention anything about my state. I don't even talk shit about Jersey to him, yet he constantly lectures me about how rough it is there.

I've never been there, so all I know about it is what I've heard and read. It doesn't really look any different than any other state, except doesn't it have lots of toxic waste or something? Anyways, I'd like to hear from people who have lived there. Is it really that "hard"?

It's this disease that the majority of NJ people get. Once they leave their state they have to make it known to everyone they meet that they're from Jersey and they have to continuously brag about being from Jersey.

If you're ever near one of them when New Jersey is mentioned, watch out! They are prone to pumping their fists, yelling out "Yeah Jersey!", and basically getting out of control for a few seconds. I can't even tell you how many times I've witnessed it with my own eyes. ;)

truthfully i prefer living in a hood... im generally closer with the people around me there... and chances are im not gana get cops called on me there...

only problem is alot of ppl dont look kindly on new comers in places like that

my experience in New Jersey was pleasant. at the end of my senior year in high school a good friend of mine gassed his car up and we lived and worked in Long Beach Island for over a month. it was easy to find work in the summer and the drugs were even easier to find.

the most memorable times we had in Jerz were spent in Atlantic City.

long beach island is rich as fuck, no offense Axl but i would never go there for vacation there are much better places on the shore to go. you gotta come to the good shore. lol

Smoketrails i hear u on that comment before bout living in a hood

i hope to go to jerz soon... just for the H... i am actually planing a trip just to sample it

the dope in New Jersey was highly over rated, IMO.

I took many samples and none impressed me too much.

lacey - yeah LBI was uppity, but it was the easiest place to find a summer job that could pay me well enough. plus it was like spring break 24/7 during the summer.

Lacey is so Jersey that they named a town after her

I usually go to Camden for concerts at the tweeter center. Walking the streets downtown there can be pretty weird and can consist of a lot of experienced. If you don't look at your feet while you walk, you may trip over a bum :\
