he's just a kid though. Being bought up in the circumstances he has been he's quite level headed overall i think.

his only major gaff was shooting that kid in the woods when the kid was handing over his weapon. Rick let him off too lightly over that. Rick is trying to give the lad a proper moral compass, which is hard enough in the best of times, let alone after a zombie apocolypse. :)

I'll check it out. I dont really like that Cumberbatch guy, and Martin Freeman seems a bit bland, but i will check it out and try to give it a fair chance.

Ha, I dont know ifs just because its american, or the way its filmed. Walking Dead sometimes makes me laugh when you can see whats about to happen a mile off, or some of the lingo.

New episode was good though, I had completely forgot who had survived/died because it had been that long.

the arrogance of youth, and especially teenagers. They can go through a stage when they think their parents are full of shit and that they, the kids, know best. Plus all those things he said about hid dad when he, rick, was comatose. Finally them both relented, and rick promised to start treating him more like a man. I thgought Rick had turned at one stage, when he came to, growling and wheezing in the living dead way, i wonder if he winding carl up after what the cunt had said to him 'i wish you were dead' and all that ?> :)

So glad to see that 'governor' lunatic finally got a bullet in the head. Kind of ironic that it took his lover and partner to do it. When are the zombies gonna start thinning out i wonder. Thres been thousands of them killed allready, yet theres still so many of them, wont some of them start starving to death etc for lack of food ? (like they did on 28 days later/28 weeks later) Even ones that seem to have been held up for months with apparently no food are still well buiult and strong.

Fuckin Michone must have set a new record last night. She bought down a herd of 15-20 in as many seconds with her samurai sword. She is still awesome.

i think they should recapture and rebuild the prison fence where its been damaged. The set up is still fudamentally sound.They did it before, they can do it again, they are much more experienced this time. The episoide when they took the prison first time round was one of my favourite episodes. They were fucking gladiators,. <3

Watched something about 'living and surviving in Alaska' last night.

It was very good, some young woman had to come to terms with hunting and killing her first wild deer.

It wasnt for sport, they needed the meat in order for them to be able to survive the winter. As someone who loved and respected wild animals it was very difficult for her, especially as the deer was sitting right infront of her, made intimate eye to eye contact with her, and she had to shoot it. I think most people would understand and get what she was going through, it would take a while for any wild animal lover to become callous and hardened to such things, if ever. Most of us get our meat from a supermarket and dont have to think too much about the taking of a life that went into providing that meat.
 
Just finished watching Love on iPlayer. Anybody else happen to see it? Looked and sounded gorgeous (soundtrack was particularly good on headphones) but am buggered if I know quite what it was all about. Bits of it, yes, but overall it's a bit of a mystery. Anybody see it and have more of an inkling as to what exactly was a-gwarnin?

Absolute classic series. Everyone should see that one, I'd say. Check the film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me too but wait til after the series as it's a prequel and has spoilers for the TV series.
 
Twin Peaks is on netflix? Awesome.. it's still on my to-watch listy. That might be this evening sorted.
