Is she in Alan Partridge, as one of the Travel Inn workers? Is that specifically where that photo is from?

yes, yes, yes.

she's got that nice but naughty thing about her. Or is that naughty but nice? Like she'd give you a blow job in the car but she wouldn't let down your tyres with a knife.

lol, the last part might be the other way round. Unfortunately you can rarerly judge a book by its cover, but she looks kind of wholesome in a good way, and she probably has healthy appetites lol.

Just finished watching...

... as mentioned by MDB last night. Am not a Bear Grylls fan but was coaxed by Stephen Fry. Enjoyed it. And can kindasorta relate a bit. In terms of the being shite at physical exertions but knowing from (admittedly rather limited) experience of such things that you really do feel great if you do manage to do such things. Plenty mountains around and about the place here but no handy survival expert to do the "not accidentally killing yourself" bit. I'm sure Bear Grylls is not essential equipment but somebody with a clue (and ideally with an inspirational spring in their step) would be handy. Or perhaps start with hills and leave mountains for another day...

In related news, also recently watched...

... which is worth a mention cos it's a full 40-odd minute interview and not even for the purposes of selling a book, film, TV show or whatever. Just general chit-chat. Which is pretty much ideal for a Stephen Fry interview :)

I'll have to save that for Ron. Later ron. Im a huge fan of practically everything stephen fry does. Am also partial to bear grylls so the combo was particularly good for me, i loved the little bit of saucy banter between them. Im kind of middling at physical stuff, more of a ray mears than a bear grylls, but did the 'outward bound self development course' at school which involved absailing and walking down deep rivers and waterfalls and stuff. You do feel good after things like that, or just getting out in nature.

chewin' the fat is very funny, and then you've got "still game" to enjoy <3 except that's the spin-off show you're on about, so you've not. Sorry!

Still Game is the one I was thinking of, Knock. Not seen all of 'em but watched a fair few and they're great =D

(and have noted the same characters (albeit looking suspiciously young even with the make-up :sus:) singing a song about titties already)

:D

I presume this is just a random Xmas special episode or summat cos is just a one-off afaik. Will have to get around to acquiring the lot some time cos I have a massive softspot for Scotch humour <3

EDIT: It's the NYE special from 2002 apparently.

i have mixed feelings about the gadget man series stephen fry did currently screening on more4 i think. He's one of those guys that has to buy the newest latest gadget, and people like that tend to annoy me, but if anyone could make such a show watchable it would be Fry.

I liked the bit in last nights episodes where he had a race against alan sugar to see who could figure out how to use a brand new phone, download the twitter app, take a pic, and post it on twitter first. Alan Sugar couldnt remember his twitter pswd, held the camera the wrong way round and took a pic of himself lol, and stephen frys tweet got 'lost in cyberspace' so Alan Sugar eventually won. You could not imagine 2 more completely different people, you might imagine they'd clash but they seemed to get on great.

Breaking Bad.

I know Im extremely late to the party, infact everyones left and gone home and the mess has been cleared up before i arrived, but im 3/4 of the way through season 2. The whole of season 1 was awesome. i thought season 2 dipped a bit whilst concentrating on the marriage tensions, that was a bit soap oparey for a while, but its got right back on track after a slight wobble.

Last night i watched the epiosode where Eisenberg tells some massive wresltler type who was trying to organise a drug ingredient shopping spree to "stay out of my territory". I love the way he is developing a drug kingpin hardnut/psycopath ego, its really really brilliantly done.

Tis indeed. i love it

Watching the new season of Its always sunny in philadelphia atm

Breaking Bad.

Just read somewhere yesterday that there's gonna be a spin-off series focussing on the lawyer from Breaking Bad. Starting in the autumn on US TV (and presumably a gazillion online sources) and called Better Call Saul. Sounds very promising but spin-off shows have a tendency to be dire. Got high hopes for this given how incredibly good BB was though so looking forward to it.

Spin offs are indeed usually shite. Plus the fact, Saul is probably the BB character I'd least be interested in watching a spin off about.

Really?!? I thought Saul was a brilliant character. Although I do have visions of a truly godawful comedy spin-off. I hope he doesn't try to go for out and out comedy cos whilst the character worked great in a black comedy as light relief I could quite imagine it'd get very old very fast without the hard edge that's always bubbling beneath the surface on BB.

As an aside, did anybody notice the "hilarious" puntastic name said Saul has? I must confess that I didn't until it was pointed out by somebody else. But hey, it's all good, man ;)

i hated him at first, but the more you get to know about him, the smarter he is, and he seems to be very well connected. Fuckin Jessie has started injecting speedballs now. I cant see this being a good move on his part. I presume everyone else in the world has allready seen this expect me, please shout out if im spoiling it for anyone who hasnt seen it yet. :\

Just finished watching first episode of Sex Sent Me to the ER. As you can probably tell by the title, comedy gold =D

Got second episode to go and it's that one wot intrigued me (there's a clip of it on several of the UK tabloid sites today). A woman who had to go to hospital cos she was cumming non-stop for 3h. Is that an emergency? Depends what's on telly that you wanted to watch that night, probably.

This eve I are been mostly watching Karl Pilkington: The Moaning of Life. Don't have Sky so didn't realise there was a new series of Idiot Abroad (well, a variation on the theme anyway). Am just watching the third episode ('Children') and am assuming they'll all be worth a watch cos the first two were entertaining enough. The 'Happiness' one was particularly good. I liked the hippity-hoppity (ex-)gangsta clowns. KP Klown's dancing is priceless =D

I think he has a genuine point about the "happiness = comfy" thing too. And that intentionally homeless/living without money fella was pretty kewl. Not that you could live the way he does here really. It's one thing living without money in a country that chucks out as much perfectly good food, clothing and "things" in general - especially if the climate is clement - but it just doesn't quite work out that way here in Blighty :\

I wonder how much longer they can string this "Idiot" thing out? Cos he's clearly not and barely manages to hide it half the time. He is funny as fuck all the same, mind :D

I think there was a simmilar program some English vicar or church minister did a couple of years ago. I cant remember what the program was called. But it was the same thing he wanted to try and get by without any money, and just on the charity of others, maybe earning his dinner IIRC.

At first, for the first couple of minutes the guy struck me as a complete tosser and arsehole, but as the program went on and you got to know the guy better it became clear he really was an outstandingly great extraordinary person. I'll try and find it on youtube.

EDIT: Nope cant find it on there. 8)
