Fucking YAY

Start with Season 2 ... it's different every season, no character or storyline continuation.

make sure you watch it ... seriously. Jessica Fucking Lange OMG. So SO SO good

Homicide is good, but not 'thrilling' ... it's a plodder but well written.

Those 9 year old girls were fuckin crack shots saving Darryls ass werent they !! cant believe that bastard chopped Hershells head off !! That governor is unlikely to survive being skewered on Michones Sumaria sword, but that single gun shot at the end, was it that woman shooting the governor in the head, or taking down one of the 2 approaching walkers. I loved Ricks speach though in his call for appeasment, i see now why he was allways regarded as the leader, though its all done by "the council" now.


Downgraded my tv package to freeview now, until it returns in feb, saves about £40 a month, which is pretty usefull as i dont have anything coming in.

Ah right, yeah I streamed it online, Thats finished now till February, I remember reading on here exactly what happened im sure it was ptch a few weeks ago.. are the following on directly from the books?? or was it a wild stab in the dark.

Might start watching that Luther, anyone watch that?

PTCH was just on the wind up with that post of his. On one of the dvd box sets, it had a 'making of' feature and the director said the plot varies slightly to the plots in the comics.

Never watched Luther. I like Idris Elboa though, i was amazed when i learnt that both him and dominic west were britsish actors after watching all 7 series of The Wire, so convincing were their American accents. Same as Andrew Lincoln in TWD, his accent never falters. What ever happened to Omar, he was my favourite character in The Wire, but unlike Elboa and West his career doesnt seem to be anywhere near as successful post-The Wire.
Elboa has recently starred in the title role of a film about Mandella, not exactly sure of the release date, but if its being screened at the cinemas now, then the timing is uncanny.

Yeah I watched the first season of American Horror Story yesterday and going to start the second one shortly, thanks! Thought it was ok but I look forward to the second one.

Will give Homicide a shot after.

It involved hershall and the baby getting scranned, I am sort of unsure if it has though it could be on the bus. I wonder whats going to happen to that car they always use (that light green thing)nice bit of product placement, always seems to be in mint condition never had a scratch.. maybe someone else will find a new one.. is getting exciting though yeah great time for a mid season "finale"

narh you said zombie hershell ate ricks baby. He cannot have done that as he was beheaded. Im so glad that was a wind up. Even seeing Merl turn zombiefied was hard to take, sure he wasnt exactly everyones favourite character, but he was a hero in his own way, although a fuckin danger to himself and everyone around him, but i dont think he was a bad guy, just a bit fucking nuts. IRL i dont think id want to know him, he would come with TROUBLE written all over him. Michone however, man id do anything to have her in my life, she'd make a man of me yet !! All i need is a samurai sword lol.

Aye they should have kept merl, that massive bag of drugs he had! He had the right idea at least , am I right in thinking they could just move to an island or get on a large boat? Is there going to be another series?
 
merl went a hero suicide mission to try to assisinate the governor and crew singlehandedly. Maybe he was a bit egotistical, he was a fuckin machine, but he overereached himself a bit there. Shame Michone couldnt persuade him to come back, she forgave him instantly, just as hed hed been about to hand her over to the governor to be tortured. What a woman.

zombies can survive under water and grow gills in TWD. I donno if theres gonna be a season 5. IMO its showing no signs of loosing momentum, or stagnating, or becoming predictable and formulaic. This is the best TV series ive seen since The Wire without a doubt. Its the depth of the characters that does it, they are practically alive in our imaginations.

There's going to be a good few more seasons, and at least one spin-off show about a totally different group of survivors.
