Sherlock and Justified are both superb.
Raylan is such a great character. Apparently it's been confirmed that it'll end after series 6, which is a shame.

I watched the final episode of Breaking Bad last night. I'm a little late to the party, but I feel lost without it. Someone hold me.

Yeah ive seen Deadwood. absolutely amazing, shame it got cancled. ahead of its time i reckon, if it was brought out now it would never have gotten cancled. so well written, amazing dialogue, best swearing ever. al swearegen, what a legend. and bullock. badass

Rayan is the guy that was in deadwood

Yeah its also got breaking bads Skylar in it. whatever her name is. a thinner and less annoying version

I dint watch The Walking Dead last night, just recorded it. Im gonna save up a few episodes, if my recorder breaks down I will not be happy. It makes it far more involving to watch ~3 epiosdes back to back, otherwise it's just not the same. I only switch my 5.1 surround sound on for that and films atm, in order to save electric, but the opening music for TWD really sets the show up and gets me in the mood. You can tell its gonna be dark as fuck.

I first accidently caught about 2 minutes of the show, it was something like episode 7 season 2, i could tell immediatelly that i loved it. Decided i didnt want to start watching it halfway through episode 7 of season 2, and started right from the start, and am very glad that i did.

The last episode i watched a week yesterday ended on a note that made me think oh oh, here we go again, another bunch of 'bad people' like The Governor and his crew. I hope they dont string out another plot line like that for too long if that is the case, as it's been done before and repeating the same thing again, just with different people could get annoying. I think it was just cos i had to watch one single isolated episode that it didnt feel quite so ggod, there was no sign of Michonne beheading walkers with her samurai for a start, that's probably what was lacking. I'm missing Hershell and the half crazy Merle too. They were great characters.

It bugs me a bit now, half of the characters i dont even give a shit about. and now theyre scattered all over the place and i couldnt give a shit. scattering characters in Game of thrones started to get annoying in season 3, jumping all over the place

I think its cos after watching breaking bad, Sherlock, sopranos, justified, and various other stuff, the writing seems piss poor weak, i could write a better story line. i dont feel emotionally connected to it like other stuff ive seen. i couldnt give a shit about the chinese guy finding his wife, i dont give a shit about the kids in the woods with the black guy, i want carl to die on there cos hes such a dick, that woman with the short hair is dull as fuck

I envision if the writers of breaking bad, etc, wrote something like the walking dead, it would wipe the floor with it

The episode from a week last monday was the first episode i felt critical of. It was becoming more 'same old same old'. Maybe they should think about calling it a day, if they are running out of ideas. The first 4 and a half seasons were great i thought. That mid season break in season 4 annoyed me, and i havent been able to get back into it so much since then.

Its gone tits up like Dexter did. only faster

Although the episode last night had promise.

until they fucked that truck up.

ok that sounds good, i wont read the potential spolier though. I wont give up on it yet then. I'll save up 3 episodes and see if it wins me back, after a slight wobble imo. They are allowed the odd 'not so good' episode i suppose.

Even Breaking Bad had its not so great episodes, i thought all the episodes about the marriage tensions were a bit annoying. There didnt need to be quite so many scenes like that i thought. But thats being highly critical, apart from that it was definetly one of the best series ive ever seen, if not THE best.

No, I heard that was good. I'll try and get hold of it. Have you seen The Wire ? It's an all time classic, some episodes seem very slowly paced, but they are just setting the scene and building things up. I can assure you that the slow episodes are there for a purpose for the episodes where everything kicks off big style.
