What's Good On European And African TV v. Baking Bread

Looking forward to 'Top Boy' again tonight.
I really like British dramas that are set on gritty estates etc as they are easier to relate to than a lot of the American shows.
I have seen some episodes of Breaking Bad when it was available on one of the Freeview channels in the past, may have even been Ch.5.
Thought it was great what I did see of it and another show I liked but didn't see many episodes of was 'Weeds'.
 
Think i'll watch that tonight

the start of the latest Breaking bad ep reminds me so much of the start of Pulp fiction

A great film based around John Holmes life story.

Yeah Top Boy is a great series, I can relate to it more than 99% of these American drama series.

Another great drama to watch is called The Bridge, it's like The Wire but Nordic. I was addicted from the start, really gritty & quite dark in places. BBC4 showed it but it's now out to buy.

Hope you enjoy Top Boy btw, there's not many dramas I follow but Top Boy is one I get very excited when it's on.
Pint of Tea, crackers with cheese & duty free Drum baccy, lights off & volume up, like a council estate home cinema for Bodda :)
 
Can't recall the name of the drama, but it was on after Top Boy last night.
That was good also.
Can someone remember what the cunting thing was called ? Was about a single mother in London with two pyscho sons, who ended up beating to death some dude..

Think it was a one off though, not a series.

But it was gritty and very good.

Its a 4 part series yeah, sort of inter-twines with TopBoy so maybe we might see a 2nd series?
 
Love 'Luther' great character & nice gritty storylines in TV show so hope the film is just as good.
Just noticed that at 22.35 tonight on More.4 is 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', love that show, so funny.
 
Was looking for a Breaking Bad sticker to put on my computer and may have found the coolest one yet -

New Grand Designs next Wednesday at 9pm on C4, and new QI next Friday at 10pm on BBC2, if you're a boring old fart like me :)

Breaking Bad is good but the hype is seriously OTT, it's getting on my nerves actually
