Ah, cool, and yeah, similar to last week with the ending kinda. I recon the whole series will be the same cause there's just so much to fit in.

SPOILERS
NSFW:
LOVE how the series is moving. Can you imagine how Jesse would react if he knew Walt sat by and watched his girlfriend die too? There's no way of him finding out tho, unless Walt tells him, which is highly doubtful but I'd love him to find out. So glad he called Walt on his bullshit. God I love Jesse, always preferred him over Walt.

I'm team Jesse all the way. I find him more relatable than any of the other characters...He's the only one I really want to see have a happy ending.

Wicked episode of breakin, loved it

Eastbound and down is fucking quality.

Aye it's great. Danny McBride has a supporting role in the film Blue Collar Drillbit Taylor which I watched the other night.

Watched the first episode of Oz last night, first 10 minutes made a fairly bad impression :D I think I got a bit obsessive with this post, I'm putting off doing stuff I should be doing :|

Some new inmates get introduced to their "sponsors", established prison residents. There's the cannibal, geekish yet thickset, who slowly licks the hand of his oddly unprotesting sponsor; the homeboy and fellow homeboy sponsor who exchange gang signs in plain view when introduced and don't move an inch towards each other, they are so cool; and the awkward, misfit lawyer who's sponsor is a nihilistic, street gang "Tony from Taxi" doing life... the lawyer offers his hand for a formal shake but of course is painfully ignored - full screen camera shot just to make sure YOU DON'T MISS IT.

Next day a preaching, rabble-rousing, radical Islamic leader arrives, who doesn't get a mentor (he's a celebrity extremist, why should he need one?) He goes about with a permanent fanatical grin and air of invulnerability, laughingly mocks the prison governor with impunity and has a prefab troupe of bearded black followers dotting about the place in kufis, chanting in arabic whenever they see him, obeying his every command without question - one guy is smoking a fag nonchalantly but throws it away immediately when the group is told they must give up their worldly vices.

All a bit OTT and stereotyped :|

BUT it was enjoyable despite this sort of stuff - the action is tightly paced, the main characters are interesting enough to override their caricatured intros and the production is good, despite some fairly minor gimmicky touches. I've been told it "gets better" :) and I expect it does as this first episode itself got a lot better, drama series often start out shakily as they're "finding their feet" and have to introduce the premise AND deliver a story in one episode. So I think it'll be worth persisting.

Aye, I think BBT is shite. And I'm a nerd.

Do you Americans get Mrs Brown's Boys over there?

I might watch it alongside yer knock.

been meaning to watch it for ages, had it burned to dvd for a number of years and just never got round to it.

I need distractions atm, so this sounds like it'll fit that purpose

You know the spoof sitcom Ricky Gervais was part of in the second series of Extras?

It's basically that.

A friend of mine raved about Mrs Browns Boys, so I stuck it on. What the actual fuck. Switched it off after 3 and a half minutes. Cringe worthy indeed.

It's like ya dad acting the Peter Kay "Garlic Bread" part to all your friends.. It's just not done.

I couldnt get into it either

decent sitcoms in the past few years... Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is alright, Green wing, boosh, misfits. trying to think of a few more

IT Crowd, Nighty Night, Campus, Nathan Barley, Peep Show and Pulling.

I've only read Dan's post so I don't know what's going on :sus:

Ah yeah definitely peep show, love it, need to give IT Crowd another go

Dont bother with the last series of IT Crowd, it was terrible
The first 2 were the best

Cant remember the name of the episode but when they go to the pub and be "blokes" that was classic.
As well as Moss going to the German blokes house & the one where they go to the Dinner Party.

Nathan Barley was great, poor Pingu :)

Have you checked out Him and Her yet? You'll like it. Observational comedy that gives some serious lolz. Cringeworthy and understated but fucking awesome with it.

T'will be on zee box if you haven't already seen it
