What'd you do to get off your butt today? v. "That's not real exercise!"

I got in a nice bike ride... Then I went driving.

I always thought motor"sports" were not really sports, but ever since I got my racecar ( a Subaru WRX) and have been practicing my rally driving, I have noticed that 1 -2 hours behind the wheel with no AC and staked windows (always up in back, can only move a bit in front) while doing 100+MPH on gravel and dirt roads while shifting like a madman and concentrating the entire time leaves me exhausted, covered in sweat, and mentally drained as well. It is a really even whole-body exhaustion, too. That said, NASCAR still sucks.

Probably 5 mi. walking up & down hills - if you've been to Seattle you understand this is actually more than really easy exercise - I've done ~ this amount every day since we've been here. Feels good to live in a city where walking is fun and not sheer torture due to the weather.

40 min. bike

Yesterday I got in a nice hour, hour and a half walk. Not sure if anything is going to get done today as far as exercise goes as I'm feeling quite lethargic. :-/

At 24C today, the dog did not get heat stroke doing a 6.5 mile hike.
I hiked the trail map for the 10K run I will be doing in May. Yikes. Running this will be tough but I have to start somewhere.

^ Nice one love, what's that in aid of?? The 10K...??

Done lots of curls and dips today, been for a 3 mile walk, and gonna do the next stage of my "100 pushup challenge" alongside some more dips (OK decided to do the 150dip challenge too) and maybe some sit ups and squats after I've eaten again.

It isn't a fundraiser. An annual event put on by a group called Mountain Junkies.
I really need to ramp up my training now that I have walked the course. LOTS OF HILLS.
I am now reconsidering that I could win this event. Last year's winner was under 50 minutes.
I want to be top in my age group though.

Was it the wine you had last night maybe?

Rode my bike to and from work, planning on doing some housework (cleaning, laundry by hand, cooking) and doing some yoga. I need a good stretch.

~10 mile strenuous hike in the hot hot sun. it was a good mind clearing hike though. i like the feeling of sore muscles when I earned it.

standard routine 1
lats (feel great), biceps (feelin amazing), back (could be improved).

my endeavour to cardio/legs amounted to fuck all. must step that shit up this week.

tried to force this sickness away. worked my chest, shoulders and triceps and .... LEGS (using 5 different machines)!

Been slacking off on exercising (partly from laziness and also from feeling sick). Trying to get back into a routine.

Yesterday evening I walked 2.5 miles and this morning I did my crunches, pushups and 10lb weight exercises.
