Special Brew is ace, I'd never touched it til I came to uni. Am drinking wine myself, 'Dino' it's called, down from a tenner to a fiver in Tesco, is fucking lovely, had a bottle of it the other week and it's the nicest wine I've had. Not that I'm a wine afficionado but I have come a long way from standing at the wine bar in York going 'uh...red'.
 
Just had a Union Black, about to have another whilst waiting for my litre of White Star to cool down...Don't hate on Earl Grey it's THE tea!

If Special Brew were 30p cheaper like it used to be I would be drinking it for sure, goes so well with loads of food and of course is excellently proofed!

I hate cider by the way, but more often than not it comes down to pounds per units. Fuck you Theresa May!!!
 
Vodka wi apple and raspberry juice. It's amazing the difference it makes when ya put a shitey bottle of vodka in the freezer for a few hours, still shite but you can drink it without gipping!

It is okay, but don't kid yerself, it's a £5 bottle of wine.

The supermarkets never sell bottles of Wolf Blass, or Dino at a tenner apiece, they don't even expect to.

They only put them on sale at a tenner apiece, in order to then draw everyone into the "half-price" promotion, which is the price point the supermarkets and the wine makers actually expect to sell at and make fine profits all round.

But that Dino stuff is okay :D

We never see lipton's iced tea up here, which i like. You need to go into big places, like the city for such exotica. I'm obviously missing myself at lidl / aldi's.

Ufff, CWEs are the worst, not done one in many months but even the thought of it makes me gip :(

Drinking Captain Morgan's. Not one for rum at all, housemate got it and we're slowly going through it. Got an aftertaste like the shell of Cadbury Mini Eggs.
 
Tapering with Guinness. Probably the only >5% beer in the off license that I could stomach.

Besides which, they're out of both Tennent's and Kestrel. No doubt largely due to my custom.
 
Poppy pod tea potentiated with magnesium and grapefruit juice then garnished with 3-MeO-PCP. Pretty tasty stuff!
 
Tonight I have a hawt date with Mr Henry Weston and 3 of his buddies. That at least counts as some kind of depraved orgy, yes?

No? oh well. It's just me then.

I have the house to myself for a whole 2 weeks and even my cat is asleep in what seems like bupe induced euphoria. cat pain meds ftw

I'm loving the noise reduction ... and I can hear two ticking clocks. t'is weird, but kinda nice
