A lovely Australian De Bortoli, a Cabernet Merlot from the 2004 dB Selection. Wonderful stuff.

Nah, couldn't drink that much gin... Used to love it, but drinking it now I don't really "get it" anymore, haha.
Think I'll move onto the Famous Grouse for the rest of the evening!

five fingered a bucket load of that stuff ^ t'other day, find it a wee bit sweet though. I'm currently drinking a White Star which I bought! Love being a junky
 
same thing happened to me at 15 due to realising that it doesn't get you fucked, I cannot drink lager (at less than 9%) at ALL.

My mates at the pub: "What you having?"

Me: "Errrr, double brandy and coke if you're buying but i'm more than happy to pour this special brew into a pint glass bruv"
 
My lovely husband went out to get me some drinks for after my hard day at work and came back with merry down cider as apparently it suits my age :-I git!

It doesn't taste very good but appears to be getting me pissed - maybe this is part of his grand plan as I lol about the garden in a sarong and suntan ;-)

Settled on Zubr as my polish beer of choice. At 6 for £5.50 the price is right and it doesn't have the cloying maltiness a few of 'em do.
 
^ that was originally brewed for Churchill, you're in good company.

Just made a mug of tea with a last tea bag i found lurking and stewed it which was annoying, then I added milk and realised it was a rogue earl grey tea bag, even more annoying.
