Tescunts are apparently planning to open a shop here but have been saying the same for years now. Locals are somwhat divided over the issue. Has been the biggest debate in town for as long as I've been here so not holding my breath. Wouldn't mind it meself - sod morals and ethics when it comes to cheap booze and grub :D
 
Fosters unfortunately for me, is all the shop downstairs had that wasn't going to cost me an arm and a leg. Wishing I didn't get it now though as it's not the most pleasant drink, lol, but it will do for now.

Adam's Ale. Pint thereof. To try to head off the inevitible heartburn from tonight's cheap cider rations 8)

This low(ish)-level but horribly steady drinking spell really needs to come to a happy end and soonest. Been getting uncomfortably rattley by mid-afternoon/early-evening which ain't a Good Thing at all. That and this bastard heartburn that's been driving me fuckin' nuts for months now :!

How is it that booze always seems more affordable than non-drink drugs when it clearly isn't at all? :\

Must cost about a tenner a can since the budget though I suppose. Beer prices have gone sillyhigh round here anyway. Better off buying trampjuice cos at least you gets yer money's worth 8)

Still water so far. Is just about cider o'clock but am considering trying to hold out... We'll see how that goes then.

Shops are now shut so that makes this the first day in at least 2-3 months with no booze. Am rather chuffed. Baby steps and all that. I shall celebrate with... another pint of water. Or maybe even a cuppa fruity tea if feeling especially hedonistic.
 
Yesterday was one of the only days in past 4 months I haven't drank. I had some beers earlier, now on water.

That's on my list. Definitely.

What with Oranjeboom 8.5 being relatively palatable too, it seems mainland Europe is now leading the way in tramp juice as well as in decent lagers.
