There's every chance you're completely right about China having seen the first cultivation of the tree - I was just attempting to be contentious myself, as you're no doubt aware.

Have really started to enjoy a glass or 4 of Disaronna when I get home in the evening after a 12 hour shift at work.
Its lovely straight or with some coke. If you haven't tried it out yet then give it a go and see what you think.
Works for me anyway.
