I think possibly the best experience I ever had on LSD was listening to Colourforms by Higher Intelligence Agency for the first time - SUCH a good album.

deep sea arcade - don't be sorry

Easy listening pop with an almost early beatles sound at times. I tried to convince my friend to play it on the radio and he responded with, 'Who the fuck do I look like? Rosie? Call super request.'

:( Shut down.

don't be sorry
for running around
this crooked old town

Listening to Kiss Me Deadly by Generation X.

Killer, killer song.

Seven o'clock they stand in rank
For the thirty bus uptown
And later in a downstairs room
She pulls her lover down
In ecstasy but they can't make a sound
Case her mother might come down
Having fun
In South West Six
Discovers teenage sex
Kiss me, deadly, tonight

The Stranglers - Golden Brown This is a freaking classic. Never fails to put me in a good mood.

It always makes me want to find a sailor's hat, and a stein of beer, and start swinging my arms around spilling beer on my companions.

^I don't mind that at all.

I've been killing the fleet foxes this afternoon and I'm a huge fan.
They make me feel good just listening to them.

Pearl jam - Tremor Christ

Getting ready for next friday night, even though i'm not all that stoked about their new suff, their not the type to play just their most recent album

Clann Zu - So Complicated Was The Fall

Thoughts of strength and painted scenes of perfect lives all of them come crumbling down. With each breath there comes the taste of another one. You built me up to tear me down. I believed in you.You let me down so hard.

I never tell anyone about this band because I literally have no idea how to describe their music. But I love it. Good to listen to when in an emotive, mellow drunken mood.

There's a few songs there.

Would be Machine Head , Through the ashes of empires , saw them with slipknot last year and been right into them since then ,

Killers new cd (I originally wrote album but thought people might not know what i'm talking about); Day & Age. A bargain at only $9.99

Also picked up Augie March's new album and took a pot luck with Opeth (holy shit at first listen).

=D

No worries man. They're a Melbourne band (though now broken up) though I found out about them because they were on a Canadian label, G7 Welcoming Committee, Propagandhi, one of my favourite band's labels. Unfortunately G7 shut down and sold off most of their CDs in a sale. You can still buy all albums and singles as mp3 downloads however. They were a pretty cool and politically active label putting out some of Chomsky's spoken word stuff etc. Some great bands and a lot of books.

Check 'em out if you're bored:

Clann Zú are amazing. Loved them for years. Preordered their Rúa album back in the day, and the poor bastards stuffed up the order and I got 3 of them :)

Ever heard their track "Eist"? I've never seen it available for download anywhere, or on any cd. I've got it on my computer tho if anyone is interested. IMO one of their best tracks.

It's all a bit sad they've long since broken up :(

I'm listening to Puscifer's latest EP entitled ""C" Is for (Please Insert Sophomoric Genitalia Reference Here) E.P.". Brilliance!
