Well it wasn't the barrier right in the middle, I was off to the side a bit so I didn't get too crushed. Being only 5ft 4, skinny, and a girl I always seem to find a couple of guys that look out for me and make sure I don't get trampled anyway haha. The one bad thing about being short though is if I don't get near the front at gigs I can't see shit so it's kinda a necessity.

I'm at the age where going down the front is a bit too much, but I don't want to stand at the bar either. So I tend to lurk at the bit where the real crowd meets the stragglers, trying to hedge my bets and look all moody and mysterious.

It probably doesn't work...
 
The only thing I dislike about going down the front is you have to get in there so early and you can't go out to get a drink or anything really. I used to do it at every gig I went to but I only do it for bands I'm really fussed about now (will probably do it when I see Eminem in July for example). It depends what people I meet there as well, if they're cool then sometimes it's nicer hanging back and chatting a bit rather than being sandwiched into someone's armpit for the couple of hours before the band comes on.

Moody and mysterious huh? I'm sure it works just fine (if you believe it, that's all that matters!) ;)
 
Seeing Eminem... envious of that... was tempted to see him but hes shite now compared to what he used to be

One of the best tunes he ever made i reckon... before the slim shady LP. Genius. 1997 i think

And yeah ColtDan, Eminem's new stuff is a bit shite compared to the older albums, he always seems to play his older/more popular songs at gigs anyway though. I saw him at Reading last year and I thought he was brilliant still (good enough to pay £100 to see him only a year on at least :P). If you do get the chance to go you should, I bet you'd still enjoy it.

Just back from my outing to the cinema... picked up a copy of Garage Inc. in HMV... hard to believe it was cheaper there than iTunes or Amazon.

They have some awesome covers... I don't think I have linked this yet but they did a cover of one of Bob Seger's songs:

Ahh cool :) Yea i'd deffo enjoy it... his voice is also kind of annoying now but would be cool

man I was absolutely shpongled last night, in a mess of cosmic goo. Love the lack of comedown, although I can't sleep.
 
^ I feel the same way about Death Grips, was exhausted and dehydrated when I saw them, didn't take any of it in, the show was madness.
