Westons organic 3l bag in box week-old festival leftovers thingy I nicked off my gf, washing down some nice lil bits of base...

I had a mouthful of Aspall cider last night and thought it was full on and a bit rank :| would maybe make a nice cider jelly or reduction for a pork dish though :D

Back to my old favourite red - Cabernet Sauvignon, an Australian one :)

Well I did try it Spade :\ the bottle was pretty and it smelt good, but I just can't hack cider and that stuff in particular was a very full on flavour :(

I like apples of all sorts Spade, but cider does not taste to me like eating apples :\ Ok, I fail and will take up the challenge to find a cider I like the taste of.

Could be an interesting experience :D
 
It's made from 100% Apple Kate. It's very appley tasting.

Try Westons Organic next.
 
i found a tin with 3ml of GBL in it (gotta be a year old at least)

down the hatch with a brew... i forgot how nice GBL tasted.

have some old rosie, good stuff. Was a happy day finding that on tap in a pub near uni, oh yes.
 
Old Rosie is ace but I imagine Kate will find cloudy cider even more minging than fizzy stuff.

The Brewdog guys are opening a bar up here - the old Marischal Bar if you know Aberdeen.
 
Nah don't know ABZ too well thankfully. Like the Brewdog Trashy Blonde though, pale ale with hints of passionfruit, stick a slice of lime in it and it's a delicious.
 
Vodka and ginger ale :| I've ran out of wine and am using up "guest" supplies now 8)

Money saving ftw :D liable to get indigestion though....
 
Bought some Sainsbury's French Merlot in a plastic bottle 8o 1.5 litre for £6.99 and on first sip it's pretty decent :)
