What was your scent today V. what's that stank??

For women:
I've always loved Calyx by Prescriptives..super delicious. Not for everyone...it smells good on some and horrible on others.

Lately I've fallen in love with:
Escada Island Kiss

which kind of smells similar to....

Pleasures Exotic

Estée Lauder pleasures exotic is a tropical delight. Let it tempt you with its sparkling blend of exotic fruits and flowers shimmering in the air around you.

This delicious fragrance is a fusion of Mango Passion Fruit Cocktail, juicy Citrus Fruits and watery Lychee combined with Island Bamboo flowers, Orangeblossom and dewy Bougainvillea Vine.

So delectable.

Fragrance type: Tropical Floral

Top Notes: Sparkling, Sunny, Juicy

A tropical fusion of Mango Passion Fruit Cocktail, dewy Green Leaves, and the juicy freshness of Pink Grapefruit and Orange create a sparkling, sun-drenched sensation.

Middle Notes: Luscious, Dewy, Vibrant Island Bamboo Flowers, Hibiscus Flower and Orangeblossom add a playful burst of colour and blend with watery Lychee and tangy Cassis for lush vibrancy. Bougainvillea Vine is woven throughout the dewy and leafy floralcy, while tender Peony, Green Leaves, Rose Petals and the rare spice, Baie Rose, add signature clarity and freshness.

sheesh...that was mouthwatering. I've been loving mango based scents lately.

And I've always been partial to Origins Ginger Essence, Annick Goutal's Petite Cherie, Givenchys Tartine et Chocolat (in both Blue and Pink!) and the Gap's Dream. yumyumyum!!!!

I wear

Chanel Egoiste

my sister got it for me... before you start calling me a fucking fashionista.

I've got the Issey Miyake 'Pour Homme'. Love the fact its not too over the top masculine.

Thats probably my favorite, but I've also got Polo Blue and Boss One, which are also nice, in different ways.

Dude, swiss army is the shit. I probably get the most compliments on that more than the others I wear. It lasts long, too.

this is in the lounge too, oh well...

so do any of you guys go to stores like macys or elder beermans and ask for free cologne/parfum samples? i hadnt done this in awhile but did the other day and got a lot of samples. around 25 or so. i just asked the people there if i could get a sample of anything they had and they were nice and did it.

so, to my point, to me all cologne pretty much smells the same. i dont have a keen sense of smell, i can just tell they smell good and thats about it. like this thread says, whats your favorite cologne or perfume?

My friend used to do this. Seeing as i'm going through some poor times maybe I will go check this out ha!

I've been using Sung Homme by Alfred Sung for about a year now, alternating with Issey. I have a slight problem though. My previous bottle of Sung must have been from some preferred stock, because whenever I wear that, I get compliments out of nowhere, yet when I wear any other batch of the same brand, I might as well be wearing water. Even though I have a sensitive nose, they both smell almost identical to me, yet it obviously makes a bigger different to others.

Luckily, I have a bad habit of buying a refill while I still have about a third of the previous bottle remaining, so it kind of worked in my favour this time. I leave that preferred stock bottle of Sung for those special times. *grin*

My thoughts exactly. I prefer a man's natural scent.

As for myself and perfume or whatever, I don't own any. I do however use scented lotions and body butters.

ive always like the smell of lacoste for men, its really light and summery...tho when i smell it now it gives me flashbacks of being homeless and addicted to heroin lol

i still like the way it smells tho...
