Stims are fun now and again but being on them every day blows.
 
I would function at probably 40% and worrying thoughts would be up "ten fold" if I don't take my prescribed vyvanse daily.

Miracle medication for me after all the years of self medicating on multiple harsher substances.

What did you find to be harsher about it? Mostly asking so I can further come to understand the adjectives people apply to drugs.

For reference, subjectively, I'd place lysdexamphetamine and methamphetamine closer to one another than I would place lysdexamphetamine to pharma Adderall. Dexedrine I suppose is in the middle, between the fight-or-flight jaw grinding of pharma Adderall, and the smooth flow state induced by lysdexamphetamine/dextroamphetamine/methamphetamine.

(Have only eaten/insufflated the aforementioned substances, the first amphetamine I vaporize will soon be DOM though)

2003-2014 was "self medicating" with crystal meth taken orally. The "self medicating" always turned into staying awake for multiple days more often than not.

The last time I had meth was late 2014.

2015-2023 was again prescribed methylphenidate (10mg twice a day), which did very little to help but was better then nothing.

2023 - present = Got my Vyvanse prescription 30mg once a day. A game changer. After 12 months requested an increase to 50mg.

It is my 5th month on this dose and can confidently say it is working very well for me both physically and effecting my life conditions both socially, family and employment wise in a very positive way. Family, Employers and general social reaction has given me this new lease on life.


This "new lease on life" was what I have been after since the very beginning. I spent decades thinking it was not possible and that only methamphetamine could give me that "mindset" but after being on Lisdex for the last 25 months at prescribed dose I feel "blessed" to be getting another chance at life with the proper medication prescribed by my doctor. Even the pharmacy I get my meds from respect me and treat me so nicely.

Hope this answers your query to my statement in the quoted question posted at the top.

I will be 52 years old next month and am so relieved to in the position I am in today.

spring comes...hot even,workin' mostly outside becaise of thee weather.mornin\ and fr all day-pill and half diesel and few trams...pain gettin' hard when the seasone are changin'...so it works on oain lever till afternoon...and early evenin' in bed...hope everyone doin' good👍
