Honestly I have thought about switching to methadone, but I'm still not sure how I feel about it. My biggest thing is, here in the States, for any kind of OUD application, you can't get it as a take-home prescription. You have to go to a clinic every day, at least starting out, and take it at a direct-observation window. The big logistical hangup this was creating in my life was the reason I just started getting my bupe from an online pharmacy. On top of that, there's several hours of mandatory classes every week, as well as mandatory counseling. They make it free, but incredibly inconvenient.

All that said, if it doesn't work it doesn't work. And right now doesn't appear to be working.

Here in Germany we get our TH script after six months, sometimes much earlier (I for example got it after one month) because every doctor handles this differently. But it's a real bummer how inconvenient they make it for you guys to get methadone. Several hours of mandatory classes every week?! What is this? A school?

I dunno, but if your life's circumstances eventually allow it and you feel like you really need it, then you should consider switching. Until then I wish you all the best!

At the clinic I was going to, to reach the tier where you got a monthly take home script for either drug, methadone or bupe, took 4 years. And yeah, the mandatory classes were M,W & F for 3 hours a day, am or pm. There seems to be a systematic insistence that dependence and productivity be mutually exclusive, but hopefully we can work to fix that.

Well, right now with the death of Matthew Perry (RIP, I always liked you in Friends) the sentiment towards opioids in america seems to take on a dangerously hostile tone. I'm worried about opiophobic politicians using the anger of the masses to pass laws to make getting opioids even harder than it already is. I have recently read a reddit post of someone who had to go to a methadone clinic because no doctor was willing to prescribe him opioids for his chronic pain. That's how asinine and crazy it has gotten in the US. Totally insane!

P.S.: found it -> When your only option for severe chronic pain is the methadone clinic, the war on opiates has officially gone to goddamn far

an 11am micro spedball of 90mg opium / 50mg modfinil (small doses of each, but a calm pleasant productive buzz for sure, and both purely medicinal with nice sides when combined...)

getting close to 4pm here so am gonna add a strong coffee and a small (40mg max) pipe of high quality oily hashish into the mix
 
Good morning kids!

Finally got a day or two to just fucking chill out. I was supposed to be headed to Maryland for a week or so for work, but my schedule changed and I’m headed elsewhere for a bit on Monday now instead of today. 168 hours clocked in less than two weeks. Haha.

Anyhow I got to sleep in this chilly fall morning.
Now I’m up listening to some tunes, got a big ol’ glass of whole milk while I smoke my morning cowboy killers.
Now trying to decide between some sunset sherbet flower or do I get into some oil cuz it’s the weekend and I have nothing important to do.
Feeling absolutely charmed this morning. Nearly 6 months clean from the dope/fent!

Stay lifted y’all and I hope you’re living your best lives

accidentlly had a 80mg line amphetamine sulphate an hour ago, fuck sake. First time in years and comical how I happened to come by it. At least I have no access to more so that';s good

tell you what though, it;s smooth and pleasant no jitters, and it was powder not paste, so I think it actually has a good portion of actual amphet in it which is rare for uk

no point feeling guilty or whatever though so am just gonna enjoy the day and leave it there again for another few years

You gotta try out Dexamphetamine. Purely cerebral high. Some men complain though that due to the lacking vasoconstriction they orgasm too fast.

Honestly though, I always loved Dexamps even though I'm absolutely not an upper type of girl. That shit always turned me into a hyperproductive study/work-machine and a sexbeast. T3rm!n4t0r baby!
