You actually just described me during my college years almost to a tee

I mostly wore bell bottoms (velvet, naturally) and velvet jackets - both of many colours, but never a red jacket. Did have red velvet bell bottoms though

I also wore granny/Lennon glasses. They were not rose-tinted though. Even more hippy cos they were rainbow gradient.

No side burns though. I’ve never been able to grow much facial hair

And much as your guess was disturbingly close to actual reality (at the time, I’m much less flamboyant these days )… pretty cold on this one. Although I’d love to see someone try embroidering all that on a pair of trainers
