What the dumbest thing a drug-counsellor ever told you?

Actually, I have a couple of friends that are very allergic to cannabis, but cardiac arrest and death is a long way to go. I have not researched this, so there could be some cases, but I agree it is a little far fetched.

The worst thing any counsellor ever told me is that I am alright and didn't need help.

When I pointed out that eating crack cocaine, in amounts that would be feasably packed into your average sized pill would amount to fuck all effect, i was sent out of the talk and quizzed as to where my knowledge stemmed from..

Had the usual cannabis destroys brain cells, LSD stays in your body and flashbacks will be the same 8 hour trip as the original, cocaine is normally custard powder (in all my years, particularly a dark 6 months dabbling in alot of coke, I have NEVER been sold custard powder. Not to mention it looks nothing like real coke.

My favourite, over all has to be; 'heroin addicts often use urine to shoot up if they cant find water'

The sad thing was two guys in the talk had to leave after hearing this because they felt ill.
 
Just a few days ago we had these cigarette/weed prevention people come talk to our class and they told us that a dimebag of weed costs about 300 dollars. We were just like what the fuck its a "dime" bag, it doesnt cost 300.
 
man all these drug pro's really don't know shit.

to be able to get that title you should have to have extensive back knowledge of drug effects (even a prior user?) or a chemistry background.

or a mod on BL!

But if they hired people with knowledge, their entire practice of spreading misinformation would crash and burn. :\
 
When I had to do alcohol counceling because of a DUI, the guy told us that a BAC of .08 means that 8% of your blood is alcohol. I immediately laughed out loud and corrected him (.08 means .08% ). He wouldn't believe me. Whatever, he was an idiot and I didn't pay attention to a single thing he said after that.

Wow, people are stupider here than I thought. That article says a BAC of .02 is .2‰ or permille (a tenth of a percent). Read the rest of that article. It is very obvious unless you are retarded that the BAC units standardly used in the US are percentages not ratios to one or whatever else (i.e .08=.08% alcohol to blood like I originally said).
