Well my doctor and all the "professionals", i use the term loosely because im constantly reminding the pharmacist at the clinic for the right dose and for my valium dose to be correct when they usually fuck it up? idiots...
Anyways the people at my clinic beleive 32 to be the ceiling dose for sublingual dosing. I came off a 300mg a day + (more accurate would be 400mg a day but lets just say 300) oxycodone habit that wasn't even that hardcore, lasting maybe a fortnight, before that was heroin for a month, last week of h use was IV, nothing even major.
I went into detox and waited for w/d's to kick in, then i was dosed 2mg every hour sublingually until i reached 8mg, then i was held at that, gradually i negotiated this dose up and up and up, i was on 24mg before, and seen my clinic doctor and asked about methadone instead, and was told basically, was told that im on too much valium(was using 90mg a day with that oxycodone), but im only on 35mg a day now, super tolerant to that, i dose it all at once after my days bullshit has been completed..
I've never noticed buprenorphine to be sedating much at all man, im pretty sure its thebaine derived as it reminds me alot of how oxycodone isn't as sedating as morphine. I find buprenorphine to be super clear minded, all speedy like in it effects.
Even with the valium, i dont find it very sedating at all man.. Pretty trippy that it zonks you right out. in 17 months time ill be getting 16 8mg tabs takehome a week lol.... If i were to stay on sub, but i think ill be going onto methadone as i miss the full agonists way too much... and i have been refused a stable valium script from the clinic, so im kinda left with no help with my benzo lust, but im allowed to have as much suboxone as i want? fucking stupid...
I either have a beast tolerance or you guys are sensitive to this stuff, like 2 months ago i could get a nice nod from 500mg codeine, my last oxy high before i went into detox i did over 600mg(alot of oc80s lol) and 120mg of valium, and although i was high as shit, i wasnt nodding into my chair..............
So yeah my opioid loving friends keep that in mind, that within the space of a week-2weeks you can physically change your brain drastically to the point you're tolerating silly amounts of opioids with ease, like i said man 600mg... i should have been bleeding due to the scratching ffs.............
But yeah apparently 32mg is the sublingual ceiling? I've noticed a small increase in effect going from 24 to 32, but there alot of variables because sublingual dosing of suboxone just pisses me right off and i always feel like it's fucked up some how, paranoid thoughts..
A quick google search confirms that 32mg seems to be the ceiling dose for sublingual administration(which according to wiki has a 35%-40% a bio av.)
