What prescriptions are you Rx'ed?

That's very true... Though they usually want to start you off with some bullshit dose like .25 mg clonazepam, and by that time I'm usually taking three sticks to the face with my morning cup of coffee...

Anyway, speaking of benzo's I'm seeing my sub doctor on Tuesday, and I'm going to try and up my clonazepam dosage, or possibly change to a different benzo altogether as I'm struggling at the moment(and I legitimately benifit GREATLY from benzo's, even when I buy them illegally i never use them to get "fucked up", just to ease my never ending anxiety and racing mind)and that one mg might as well be a sugar pill..we shall se how it goes, maybe she'll take some pity on me and give me a script for dilaudid as well ("that suboxone is just not doing the trick!")

^ lool i think that would be contradictory to suboxone maintenance

going to see the doc on monday, hopefully i get some gabapentin to go along with my xanax and etizolam :)

Haha, yeah I'm just joshin'..

Their is possibly a hydromorphone polymore implant that is in the works, which might be used as an alternative to bupe/methadone maintenance.. Now that I would not mind.

me neither, that shit would be awesome hahah! though i've never had the pleasure to try hydromorphone before

Good stuff:

1 mg Klonipin TID (I do take this one as rx'd, mostly)
0.5 mg Xanax QD PRN (I take much more than this, 1 mg every night and 1 mg PRN) I asked to be switched from Ativan back to Xanax. I guess I got my taste for it back.
100 mg Ultram Q 6 PRN (I am up to 300 mg tramadol daily, and not for headaches)

So that is what I am actually scripted as of now, the Xanax and Ultram in small quantities, but my whole family is rx'd Xanax, and my dog is rx'd tramadol which she doesn't need anymore so I have a lot more than actually rx'd.

Got prescribed 10mg temazepams. I need about 30-40mg to get to sleep right now, in the beginning, so I'm gonna have to either renew or change that to a stronger pill, or preferably, a different hypnotic. I've had good experiences with lormetazepam, though I don't know if I can ask the doctor about it, since it's not prescribed in my home country. I have an old prescription for nitrazepam from my home country, which I found an effective hypnotic, but the last time (though I didn't raise the point) the doc said she was against prescribing long-acting benzodiazepines, such as diazepam, for insomnia as they have long-lasting effects (although I consider 90% of diazepam's effects to be over in about 8 hours), and that generally, the two options were zolpidem and temazepam.
I suppose I could bring up nitrazepam, showing the script, or lorazepam (which I lost my script for but can still claim I've had), or at least get stronger temazepams - this shit ain't gonna cut it, she gave me "two weeks' worth and after 5 days, including one break, I will run out tonight.

150mg pregabalin BID for fibromyalgia
100mg gabapentin TID for these complex partial seizures I get now
120* 7.5-325 hydrocodone/APAP each month for fibromyalgia pain
30mg temazepam 1x/day for insomnia
40mg lisdexamfetamine 1x/day for inattentive ADD

I fucking love this state (FL)

Mine are:
wellbutrin 50 mg-depression
savella 50mg fibromyalgia
hydromorphone 12-16 mg per day torn shoulder tendons and ligaments, bone spurs in shoulder, fibromyalgia, ruptured disc, spinal stenosis and disc problems
lunesta 6mg(sleep)
trazodone 300mg(sleep)
Need surgery but my spine is lousy so I have to take fosamex to build that up. Also I'm in PT and hoping that will work

I tired to switch my Clonazepam to alprozelam but my neuro called back saying well start up a taper for the clonazepam. Take the month at your comfort to lower your doses to zero.

I called back saying I'm fine stickingwith clonazepam, was just wondering if I could as it would have less side-effects. Turns out I can't because of it would have been off-label use for what I want to use it for. Wondering if I should try temazepam as I believe I can switch to that. I don't so much like clonazepam but want to keep a benzo around. The problem would be negative aspects if I tried to take any dose during the day, as I take a small dose of clonazepam during the day before my large dose at night.

-so still 120 0.5 mg clonazepam,
-90 10 mg methadone, my script after this upcoming one I may ask to try levorphanol instead (for 2-4 weeks) as my insurance can pay for it making it cost cheap as fuck, just have to get him to approve it with my doc. That or I might try to get a oxy script hopefully (90 30mg) for a one month vacation from the methadone. I'd prefer the levorphanol and it would be one to add to my list.
-picking up this month 60 15mg amphetamine salts (been getting one script every two months rather than every one months for the last 4 months,
and picking up later my last 60 300 mg Gabapentin Script

maybe should get 120 50mg tramadol if I want to spend the money on refills I have for them so I don't lose them.

I am Rx'd the following:

Methadone MMT 130 mg/day
Escitalopram (Lexapro) - 30 mg 1x/day
Alprazolam (Xanax) - 1 mg 3x/day
Dextroamphetamine (Dexedrine) 10 mg IR tabs - 20 mg 3x/day
Aripiprazole (Abilify) - 10 mg 1x/day
Fentanyl patch - 25 mcg 1 every 3 days (for fibromyalgia pain)

I have ADD, depression, GAD, PTSD, and borderline personality disorder. Plus fibromyalgia.

Several people here have posted that they're concurrently taking tramadol and something like oxymorphone. If you're used to taking something as potent as oxymorphone, I don't see how you'd notice it if you took an entire bottle of tramadol, other than the tonic clonic seizures, but I mean opioid wise.

Seriously people, someone let me know how that's going, being doped up on Opana and then taking a couple of tramadol? Do you feel it at all?

As far as I'm concerned, you are spot-on, and though this is sad to say, I have at least one answer: when you take too many of your [insert strong opiate here] and can't get them refilled for a week, tramadol does come in handy. You still feel like crap, but it does act (selectively) on the mu receptor and at least staves off the really nasty withdrawal symptoms which is better than nothing for a few days. Other than that, does nothing... not even decent pain relief. It is a "phony opiate" (though I realize it works wonders for some and may even be preferred by some over "true narcotics"... never gave me that warm fuzzy feeling.)

Also in relation to your question, I wonder if it just potentiates the effects of strong opioids? Could possibly be another reason. I would think that it would compete for receptor sites instead and not be too useful. Still, I'm with you-- if you have Dilaudid or Opana or morphine, why bother with tramadol?

Third potential reason: combinations. We know hydrocodone combined with Soma and Xanax produces a "heroin-like high"... There are probably combinations of tramadol with other meds that potentiate each other and cause more euphoria. Don't really know any, but I am sure it wouldn't be hard to find.

people should say what the script is for, if they feel comfortable sharing. Because i am curious as to how and why some people on here get scripted the things they do. you'd think half of bluelight is going through chemotherapy.

Hahahah hell yes.

Nothing. I am lucky enough to have my health, and any mental health issues I deal with myself with the help of friends, the occasional psychedelic and TIME.

How did you manage this? I have been on triazolam (.5), adderall and (20 xr TID) and xanax (6 mg xr, 3 ir) and was the most functional and academically successful(grad school/ biomed research + PT job) i've ever been.
Back on Klonopin 1 mg TID, Adderall (started w/ IR but just switched back to XR)... this is after a only Lithium trial blew up my world... picking up the pieces, but could very legitimately use higher dosages of klonopin and adderall as well as a knock out hypnotic (not a stupifying anti-psychotic or the like, tried em all).

i just happened to come back to this thread and saw what i was taking almost 2 years ago. way too much. i know that. so what i am taking now (which is still a lot) but much better than the small pharmacy I was taking each day:

#45 Lexapro 30mg (20mg AM / 10mg PM for dep/anx)
#150 Ativan 2mg x4/day and as needed for GAD/panic/social anx
#90 Tranxene 15mg x3/day for GAD
#90 Zanaflex 4mg x3/day muscle spasms
#90 Ultram 50mg x3/day for pain
#60 Dexedrine ER 10mg BID (x2/daily for ADD/social anx)
#60 Clonidine 0.1mg x2/day for HTN and opiate cravings
#120 chloral hydrate 200mg up to 3/day for migraines off-label (works- since the FDA kicked Midrin off the market... the ONLY thing that ever worked for my HAs). Also useful when I absolutely cannot fall asleep and for pain as I decided to get off all the opiates I was on (Lortab/Dilaudid/Fentanyl/PRN Demerol)
#30 Ambien 10mg insomnia but rarely take as it has stopped working/trying to find something that will
OTC Melatonin

**Still have insomnia- Refuse to try antipsychotics again as the quality of sleep is very poor and scary. Trazodone works but its biphasic half-life leaves me unable to get up/extremely groggy. Restoril works and then wears off so maybe rotating it with chloral hydrate or another hypnotic every 2 weeks would work? I am wondering how so many of you get Rxd Halcion. Every doctor I have ever asked does not use it... at all. In fact most are very emphatic in their "do not use it" response... Poor S/E profile and possibility of psychosis/hallucinations (which I thought was primarily in older patients), but it is still relatively commonly used from what I can see... (I don't doctor shop trying to get it. Work at a big psych hospital and have asked the psychiatrists specifically their opinion about it since i CANNOT SLEEP.)

Feel your pain, currently on adderall, klonopin, clonidine and tapering from lithium... Used to be on much more (eg halcion, only sleep i ever got) before cold turkeying everything, including 10 mg xanax qd. Cant shop either, let me know what possible solutions you have success with

60mg Cybmbalta
200mg lamotrigine (generic Lamictal)
30 mg Adderall XR (name brand, for some retarded reason insurance won't cover generic Adderall)
^All in morning.
10 mg Adderall IR prn up to 3x a day.

50 10mg Vicodins every 12 days. but that's all going to change on the 27th when I get my hip replaced. Which I still think I'm too young for but whatever.
[I've had this hip problem for 8 years since I was 11, it's how everything started.]
