Thought I'd never need to walk into a pharmacy with one again, but I just got new scripts for clonazepam (0,5-1mg/day) and temazepam (20mg/night).

Citalopram 60mg (for depression)
Ritalin 30mg (for ADD)
and a bunch of High BP, water pill and Cholesterol meds.

I wanna try Adderall (then perhap Dexadrine) but my Doc said they are really difficult to get coz pharmacies stocks are very low everywhere currently (cost is another issue as I don't have insurance nor can I afford high priced alternative right now). I think she might let me try it next time I see her. Ritalin doesn't really do much for mental focus but 10mg 3 times a day keeps me up and I can stay on a subject better in an attempt to focus.

I like Citalopram. I tried Wellbutrin but it gave me such a nasty headache I couldn't tell whether I felt better or not. My Citalopram dose was cut back to 40mg for a month and I felt like crap. Now I'm back to 60mg and I feel better... not "happy" but not eminently suicidal and glued to my couch neither. I'd like to try higher dose;anyone taking higher dose of Citalopram?

BTW hi everyone! I'm new here.

seroquel 50-100mg at bedtime-sleep

lexapro 20 mg daily-depression

I work alternationg shifts, so sometimes I take the seroquel in the morning for going to sleep and I think It works very well for shift work.

I have also heard commercials for a "disorder" called shift work disorder and they are suggesting a drug in the same class as for ADD. I can't remember the name though.

Klonopin .5mg I don't take it daily, however it makes a nice sleep aid/anti-depressant occasionally.

my newest prescription line up?

#120 15 mg oxycodone IR
#30 1 mg alprazolam IR
#30 1 mg clonazepam IR
(+ birth control, but that isn't very exciting...:|)

The oxy IR is for bilateral arthritis. The alprazolam is for panic attacks/periods of more intense anxiety as well as trouble sleeping. The clonazepam is for general anxiety (disorder).

Thought I'd never need to walk into a pharmacy with one again, but I just got new scripts for clonazepam (0,5-1mg/day) and temazepam (20mg/night).

Went to the doc because although the clonazepam was working alright, the long duration, in combination with the temazepam for the night, meant I was on benzos 24/7. I asked if there was something shorter-acting I could have, so that I could medicate when I need to function outside of the house, go to lectures etc., but be sober at home and possibly face and try to learn to deal with the anxiety and panic attacks when I have no fear of public embarrassment.

She prescribed me 30x10mg oxazepam, 3x daily. Pretty rubbish choice, I'm having a telephone consultation the day after tomorrow and I think I'll have to have it changed to something else. At equivalent doses (0,5mg clonazepam = 20mg oxazepam - though subjectively for me it feels more like the equivalent dose, in relation to any other benzo, should be 30mg for oxazepam, as I find it quite weak), the oxazepam is both more sedative and less anxiolytic - so poorly suited for what I need right now - and it takes longer to take effect, so all it has going for it is the shorter duration. I dunno what she may suggest next - as far as I know, anxiolytic benzos prescribed here are alprazolam, bromazepam, clonazepam, clobazam, clorazepate, chlordiazepoxide, diazepam, lorazepam, medazepam, oxazepam, and prazepam. Some of those have fairly long half-lives with active metabolites and long durations of action, though, so they're not ideally suited to my situation (to keep anxiety at a tolerable level and panic attacks at bay for a few hours a day).
In the past few nights I've also had to up the temazepam to 30mg/night and I hope that doesn't continue.

While I dunno about doctors here, elsewhere they seem to have been unaware of a large variety of benzos - one particular doc in another country did not know of any other sleeping aids other than zopiclone, zolpidem and temazepam - I had to ask him to look up nitrazepam on his computer, and after reading up a bit, he reluctantly wrote me a script. Hard to say whether I'll have to specifically ask for something, or wait for the doc to recommend something. :\

60mg Adderall daily (I'm aloud to raise the dose "as-needed", although I do legitimately have ADHD.)

100mg Minocycline (Acne is a bitch)

30mg Propanolol (For stage fright, I take it before I perform. It's wonderful for stopping panic attacks.)

Now:

0,25mg alprazolam up to 3x daily as needed
30mg temazepam for the night - next in line is lorazepam if that stops working, says the doc.

Wellbutrin XL 300 mg daily (MDD, SSRIs and SNRIs cause psychotic reaction)
Androderm 2.5 mg TD daily (FTM trans)
Finasteride 1.25 mg daily (DHT blocker to prevent hair loss... seriously =P)
Clonazepam 0.5 mg daily PRN (anxiety, like adrenaline rushes when the pain level is high... rx'd for the muscle relaxing properties as well)
Lidoderm patch daily PRN (back pain)
Zolpidem 10 mg daily (insomnia from pain and working night shift)

In the last week I got a script for zolpidem 12.5 mg extended release, which didn't work, so I got a script for temazepam 30 mg. Helps to stay asleep but not to fall asleep =/

I'd rather not have problems sleeping than have to take pills. But would rather take pills than not sleep.

Has anyone tried smoking suboxone?

Hi, my name is Janalie I need help I have been looking everywhere and can't find a legit answer to my question.

First I'll explain I'm a heroin addict have been for over a year now and its come time to quit cause we are so broke its sad. We bought suboxone 8mg tabs from a friend, we haven’t got around to taking them because the first time I did I went through the worse withdraws ever. I’m guessing it was because I smoked one hit before I took it. But I hear the blocker n….. something (I forget) was the reason. I haven’t smoked any kind of opioids since last night at 11-12 and took one about 2:30 today.

I feel better now, but my question is what will happen if I try to free base a quarter of the 8mg tab? Will I withdraw again or will I just feel even higher? I wana feel higher but I don’t ever, I mean ever want to withdraw like I did before.

Please be honest I rather not withdraw for two days straight cause I got told it won’t do anything.
