What made you smile today?

I was having a bad week and then i came to this forum. Reading the different posts made me realize I am not alone, that we are so alike, and just feeling this sense of humanity makes me smile. Haiving a sense of peace, relief, and comfort from the complexity of life and knowing that everything is OK makes me smile...I guess people makes me smile.
 
Having one of the most beautiful random strangers I’ve ever crossed paths with smile at me and tell me ‘you’re the devil’.
 
Checking my email this morning, and finding one from a friend I have known since I was 3 years old. We went to pre-school together, and have been friends ever since. She is now residing in Mississippi teaching, and I have moved around so much this past year, lost her number, and haven't spoke to her since I saw her when I was home this weekend last year!
It is great to hear from friends that that you have had forever, that when you just begin to think you may never see or hear from them again, there they are!
 
sex talk with my best friend in the middle of spanish class.

having a younger guy ask me to hang out today - it was so cute. "so do you, like, want to hang out today. er, if you'r not busy?"
 
Emailing back and forth...literally 30 times with one of my bestest friends that is on ship deployed in the usmc right now!

I actually started this thread because of him!

It was great to be thousands of miles away from eachother, and still be ableto chat for hours, and make eachother laugh, and tell one another how much it meant to us both!
 
While I was wishing for someone's hugs, he was dreaming of giving them to me. A freaky coincidence? perhaps. But it still made me smile.
 
Getting to talk to my boyfriend twice today...and having a discussion about us staying living in Georgia!
 
Today, one of my friends thanked me for being me.

When I looked at him confused and said "what the?", he said "No one can make me smile as broadly or laugh as heartily as you do, Kellster - you rock my world". He then gave me a hug and ran off to catch his bus.

Come on guys, no one had posted here in a week... surely we've been smiling at some point over the past 7 days!
 
While at work getting surprised by a behind tight hug from a girl whom I adore :)


Of course i was that surprised that I was like a stunned mullet and sort of froze. Then when she lets go she says:

"Sorry I just felt like I had to do that"

Turned around and copped a sweet smile from her :D

There has been no kissing etc between us yet but the sexual tension when we are at work is that thick you could cut it with a knife. I love it. 8)


That made me smile, as well as seeing my Manager doing a monkey dance and saying "Manamana"for no real reason.
 
Today was my first day officially done with high school!!!! god damn, even typing it makes me feel good.:)
I sat outside in the sun today in my garden, which only made me smile more=D
 
This is a bit sad, but......I got 120 Norco's. I just got "let go" from my second job in the last eight months though, so.......at least I'll have a little help with the smiles. :p
 
An email from a friend in Florida I hadn't heard from in months...

The content of the email was :

"ARE YOU FAT"

Now I dunno why it made me smile but it did. It was great to hear from you JD and yes I am a house you shall see when you open up those belly pics!:p

an sms I received and a good chat last night - remembering what's said is what made me smile today :)
