What kind of shape is your body in?

My weight depends if I've been for a shit or not. I usually hover around 10stone 11. After a shit I'm down to around 10stone 4. I usually only go once or twice a week.

On the plus side bog roll lasts ages.

Physically, I can do a one armed chin up (and only the one..) my body is by no means a temple though, and if it is, it's certainly Buddha.

Pretty lean and defined. I'm in Australia at the mo and there's a free gym on the esplanade so been hitting that 3-4 times a week and going for 3 mile runs in the morning to burn off the goon. Exercise is so much easier when it's not pissing it down every day

^ I don't even go out if it's pissing it down tbh (yeah so I stay inside a hell of a lot... fackin' England). Never been to the gym, being 19 and not a greedy pig I guess I can get away with it though,

Yeh, I've gone years without exercise, and still been in decent shape. Just comes down to genetics and your metabolism I guess. I do like a spot of pump to the muscles though haha!

In awful shape. I'll be on the beach a looooot this summer so could really do with hitting the gym.

Atm I'm at a skinny-fat kinda place. Mostly skinny. When back home for summer I can convince the parents to pay for gym membership, so my DOC for will be protein and creatine.

Why d'ya need 5 grand to sort ya shoulder out? Ever heard of the NHS?

I can tell you exactly what will happen if I go NHS because I have.

First up, I will put it back in myself as it's fucking painful and I'm fucked if I'm paying for a taxi to the hospital to sit and wait for 5 hours for someone else to do it. So I make a doctor's appointment. So that's two weeks, at the doctors you will get a referall to the orthopeadic surgeon. Now this is a piece of paper with a code on it that takes about six weeks to arrive and enables you to make an appointment, we're on eight weeks now. You make the appointment, and you get one in again probably six weeks if you're lucky, so that's 14 weeks now. You have your appointment with the orthopaedic surgeon and he takes an x-ray, prods you in and holds you in a few certain positions and says yes your shoulder's fine but your soft tissue is fucked (yes, I could have told you that from the beginning). So you again have to wait for the piece of paper to make the appointment to get the scan. That adds on another 12 weeks or so, so we're at 24ish now. Now here's where I dropped out at this stage due to work circumstances. You have your scan, and I'm not sure if you have to wait for another paper slip to make appointment jobby that adds on another 12 weeks or whether a doctor just looks at it and says whether they can fix you with surgery, but let's assume right there that they make a judgement and book a date. That is the best hope of when I can get on the waiting list for an op, they take one look at me, see I'm a 26 year old male, take one look at how it became a problem (fighting) and that's me straight at the back of the queue, and you're talking waiting times of at least a year, so that would be about 18 months out from now at very best I'd be on the table.

Pay the money I get to choose somewhere doing the Leeds-Kuff technique, I get a consultancy tomorrow and I'm on the table in a month's time.

Lol, thread is blatantly a chance for owen to show off his 8pack picture again

I don't look like that anymore man, I'm skinny as fuck. Not as skinny as when I went in to treatment but pretty fucking skinny. When I went in to treatment I was nothing.

Ah I see - I guess that puts me straight :D Hope it goes ok mate... What sort of fighting were you doing?

Fantastic for not far off forty :)

haha, even if you say so yourself. lets see the pics then. :D

Somehow Ive ended up in not to bad shape in my early 40s, despite not looking after myself at all well for the last few years and my weight has fluctuated like hell, was probably down well below 10st when using a lot of PV (im almost six foot tall) and probably about 13 and a half stone when i was using a lot of opis. Im quite skinny right now, but that means that any strength training and muscle tone starts to return incredibly quickly. I cant believe that i still have any biceps and stuff at all cos i hadnt lifted a weight for about 6 years until the other week.

pretty damn skinny, my metabolism is too fast.

Weirdly enough I don't think I've ever met a fat person who's into drugs.

Most of the stoners i know are skinny as well

Thin-ish at the mo... sorta... was gonna get myself back to this but dunno if i can be assed at the mo. just as long as i dont get properly fat im not that fussed

I'm a bit skinny at the moment. I've lost 12bs this year & it's not like I had much extra to spare... mostly muscle though. I think partly because of being out the gym, doing running instead and then just being ill & having digestive issues to boot for a month.

Seem to be putting weight back on again or at least not dropping. Hoping to get back in the gym soon to remedy all this.
