appearance by a very young Jack Nicholson..

I think the first true drug movie ( out of Hollywood ) and shit these
guys were off the Heads when making it..You can cleary see Dennis Hopper
is tripping of his head during one of the scenes...

A true classic.......

It's definitely worth renting, but good luck finding it *anywhere*

I got it from a mate who d/led it from www.suprnova.org, but you need a proglam like BitTorrent or Nova Torrent to be able to get it

It's got some celebrity voices which you wouldn't expect hehehe

Really well put together, and definitely NOT for kids!

you should -as many others will attest to- read the book. i actually do prefer the film, but the book's also pretty amazing. the reason the film's so quotable is because the way thompson writes is just so fucking hilarious

HAHAHA biodome and dont be a menace...... they are very hard to find in australia, easily available over amazon.com.... they cost me like 40 bucks for both i think... pretty cheep for something thats hard to find

and they are worth every penny

SLC Punk!

Nobody mentioned SLC Punk! so I'm putting it first. The scene were that tweaker is running from the cops with 200 hits of acid in his pocket is classic. He runs through some lawn sprinklers and it all soaks through to his skin and he FLIPS out. Based on a true story, and fuckin insane!

I just watched THE SALTON SEA as recommended by Schizo.
I remembered looking at it one night but deciding on something else, so I headed back today and got it.
EXCELLENT FILM! (although I think they use the term 'tweaker' about 200 times in the first 5 minutes ).
Anywaze, highly recommmended.
