What is your favorite HEALTHY munchie food?

Kimchi - I make giant batches of it, and it is pretty light and tasty so I eat it all the time. It's got lots of healthy bacteria to help with digestion

how do u make it? I know what it is.. I'm guessing that it involves a process to make it safe to eat.

my favorite healthy snack now is celery, with peanut butter and raisins. my mom used to make it for me when i was a kid, and called it ''ants on a log''.
it takes a little time to make a plate full, so thats the one downside when i'm realllyyyy hungry.
You should totally try this with sunbutter. :D

It's pretty simple - chop up your cabbage and green onions, shred some carrots, garlic and ginger, add a bit of salt and some pepper flakes. Put all of this in a large container and pound it with a mincing hammer for a bit to get the juices out of the cabbage and soften everything up. Transfer into a large glass jar, making sure to pack the mixture down very tightly so that it's covered by the vegetable juices, then let it sit at room temperature for a few days to ferment.

A good way to cut down on how much you munch on is to get shelled nuts and pomegranates (for example). It seems to me the more effort it takes me to open a snack the less likely I'll just mindlessly keep grabbing more. You're more aware of what you're eating and it takes more time to actually eat the food thus cutting down on the amount. Just a tip from personal experience.

raw veggies dipped in either red pepper hummus or light cottage cheese
watermelon
iced tea (unsweetened)
frozen grapes
plain air popped popcorn with salt and pepper on it (i used to actually put hot sauce on it, cuz im a weirdo, but now I cant do that cuz it hurts my stomach)

^ I don't know, but microwavable popcorn isn't very healthy because of all the other junk in the bag. Buy the kernels and pop it on the stove--It tastes better and is much healthier. :)

I've just remembered there even is a microwave version of popcorn! Gotta have the real one! I like mine with salt and pepper.
Tip: Salted water and splash with your hand, it won't stay on otherwise. Not too much water though or you'll spoil it.

I really love trail mix.
Raw fruits and veggies are also a pretty easy healthy way to go.
I also make a really good whole wheat banana bread that has no butter
and no sugar in it.

Lately, in the afternoons I've been eating a bowl of multi-grain weet bix cereal with brown rice milk. With dried blueberries or sliced banana on top.

Sometimes I snack on unsalted cashews, or hommus dip with wholegrain rice crackers. I've been meaning to give it a go with carrot sticks.

Yes! I do this. Bags of shelled peanuts or pistachios. You really are reminded of how much you are eating.

^ There was actually a study done on the impact of eating shelled versus unshelled nuts, and yeah, having the person open the nut themselves, and then leaving the shell around, made them eat less than those who had to open the nut themselves and throw away the shell right away or those who had nuts without the shell. So, get the ones in the shell, and keep the shells around 'til you're done eatin'! :P

Well there ya go!

Pumpkin seed butter sounds fantastic!

It's so difficult for me to find snack foods that fit into my diet - more on the protein side, no fruit and few carbs, no sugary stuff either :(
