What is the most addictive substance?

Consumer's no troll, Mr Mergic. Just a funny fucker. ;)

When no one was looking?
I've been refreshing every 2.6 seconds that I haven't been typing my stimmed up shite, I'm always looking!
(Especially when you're in the shower. :sus: )

Nicotine is a hard one to consider as there aren't many drugs you can use with complete freedom twice an hour at any point. People tend to judge you just a tiny bit if the first thing you do at 6am is neck a can of Special Brew rather than light a cigarette.

But, putting the nicotine down is a fucking Herculean task for pretty much anyone who smokes everyday...tons of folks drink every day for years and can put it down more or less at will.

Cigarettes and H...unfortunately they go hand in hand for me. First thing I want is a smoke after I shoot up, but go days without one if I'm not using......can't hardly stand a cig unless I'm high first...

I know, it's like a reflex. You do it so many times and associate it with everything. Water, food, sex.
There thousands of triggers. It's a hard one. I agree.

We mainly keep jokes and discussion of our being nurses n the unofficial social thread (how high are you?)

If I had to choose something besides corn syrup and the internet for my answer is probably say, for me personally, either benzo or booze.

Definitely nicotine first!
Codeine prosphate
caffeine
cocaine (small problem in my younger days)
morphine sulphate
and now on subs and enjoying the freedom I have from obtaining pain killers everyday!

I dont one know why nicotine is my top, but I haven't gone longer than two days without it, where as I've been a week without opiates on CT and even tho it's physical withdrawal, the nicotine is still harder.

coke was so hard to get away from, even after a two week binge. I still think about Coke now sometimes but haven't touched it in years.

Been on buprenophine for 4 days now on a detox plan, 8mg of a morning. Doesn't give me a high but allows me to enjoy life, hopefully not staying on them for long but needed to get off opiates as was taking upto 1000mg a day of codeine! Hate that drug, it's the devil and almost ruined my life.

I guess nicotine is the only thing I've really been addicted to long term, so I could say nicotine. Maybe I'm addicted to weed I smoke everyday and it is far more important for me to get stoned then have a cigarette, but I've never wanted to stop smoking weed. Ketamine is the only thing I've been addicted to that felt like it was getting serious and out of control although that was a fairly short amount of time compared to how long I've smoked cigarettes or weed. I'm inclined to say heroin is the most addictive drug I've done although I've never gotten hooked on it. I think it would be hard for me to get addicted to any drug that's not ketamine because after using any other drug I've only ever found myself craving ketamine afterwards, not more of said drug (including when I've done heroin, meth and coke).. pretty much if i can get ketamine that's the drug I'll be doing.
