I got a bit of Brexiprazole and Aripiprazole or however there spelled. I don't know if the 2 ones I got right now are any good or what the best 1 to use would be?

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong part of the forum.

I've got seroquel and benzos but I got a tolerance to benzos as I'm prescribed a daily dose so any other options anyone can suggest would be fantastic?

I would take benzos. Alprazolam helped me when i took too much shrooms and lsd and got severe anxiety at one point. I only took 1mg to slightly calm me down so i could calm down a bit but did not wish to stop the trip entirely. If i would wish to stop the trip I would take 3 to 4mg and go to bed to rest and try to sleep.

No I'm not currently tripping I just want to have this knowledge in mind for when I do decide to have a trip soon.

I got some GABAPentin that I'm prescribed and I think I even got an old bottle of Lyrica that I was prescribed too before I decided to stick with GABApentin... the main reason I tend to stick with GABAPentin is that even in very high and frequent dosing unlike Lyrica I don't have to worry about it causing a seizure if anything Doctors say it'll prevent seizures.

I know Lyrica is far more sedating at equivalent doses compared to GABAPentin so that might be helpful idk.

purely based on my own experiences

quetiapine > olanzapine > risperidone

that is mostly due to their half lives, and how long they make me feel shitty after taking them... they really put a damper on the trip and ruin the afterglow completely... they all seem to kill a trip relatively equally... risperidone takes quite awhile to kick in too

I would recommend you take benzos before you take antipsychotics. Benzos don't necessarily kill the trip, but calm you down enough so you don't care. APs literally kill the trip and then make you feel like shit afterwards.... where usually the afterglow of a trip is almost the best part.

seriously, only take antipsychotics if you are freaking out or having a bad trip, otherwise just ride it out....

Take a benzo if you feel like you can't handle it...like whatever ur tolerance start with that or a tad lower because you will probably be on an empty stomach(besides the shrooms) so should work just fine

Thanks for the advice guys, I will be trying benzos before antipschotic medication. I got Brexpiprazole I'm wondering if that will work? I was told it's not sedating compared to other antipsychotics in the same class of medication.

You need benzos or even z drugs which kick in really fast. I use clonazepam usually as a trip killer and i sometimes take a zopiclone or to. I was tripping balls on shrooms the other week and took clonazepam on the comedown and it was great

Take Seroquel if you can. I used that a lot for bad trips or when I was too amped up. A little weed can also help but it's a 50\50 cause it might make it worse.

Haldol or doxylamine too

Zyprexa > Seroquel because can usually do a higher comparative dose for instant use. 10-20 mg of that you go nighty night for 18 hours.

Seroquel, Zyprexa, Clozapine or Chlorpromazine. Any one of them will do the trick. Avoid Haldol because it has a lot of bad side effects. If you don't have any of those at hand you can trying mellowing yourself out with a few beers.

Last time during the aftermath of a trip. Which imo lasted a bit to long.

In my med box there Benzo's, which hardly overpower Lysergic's. And taking a handful just to force sleep, with grogginess the next day, also feels a bit wrong.

A while back on the ground I found a bag with a 1 mg and 5 mg Olanzapine pill. And adding 1 mg Olanzapine to my Benzodiazepine did the job, fell asleep. finally and woke up kinda refreshed. Kinda surprised me.

If your not using Seroquel on a daily basis than only use 25mg to 50mg. Otherwise if you take Seroquel and are at a high dosage you can go all the way up to 800mg. That's the max dose.

Hmm seroquel is another medication I got lying around. How well does that typically work though for most people and I assume it's at high doses right?
The family dr., who has adapted the 'no Benzo prescribing'. Once sent me home with 5 25 mg Quatiapine/ Seroquel.

Let's mention first its off-label to use it for sleep (discurriged), just so he doesn't have to give an Benzo or waste time finding a other solution.
Our 'dr.'s drug bible' explicitly warn's for this off label use . So after taking 25 mg. just for insomnia, nothing happened in term's of sleep.

Maybe in case of a psychedelic it might work, it does antagonize the 5-HT-2A receptor, causing the hallucination's, stop's Dopamine/ Nor-Adrenalin and who know's what. So on paper it looks like it should. But at what dose ? At 25 mg. its just a dirty useless anti-Histaminergic. My ex-neighbour loves them?

I would prefer 7.5/ 15 mg. Mirtazapine also antagonizes 5-HT-2A receptor. But its also a cleaner anti-Histamine, no anti-cholinergic effect's. On PsychonautWiki they claim it to be psychedelic in a deliriant way.
Which ime is or misleading info, or based on a few single exception's blown up to huge proportion's or they just are wrong. I never experienced any psychedelic effect's from Mirtazepine. Did have an nice effect on my dream's I recall.

You happen to have that laying around?

Apparently kratom can kill a trip too as it's a serotonin antagonist... a lot of people say it stops trips if they've had it in the last few days, but I don't know about taking it after the psychedelics. Somebody try?

Oh god, no.

Kratom's effect as a serotonin antagonist is negligible. It does not stop trips, if anything it potentiates it in a bad way. Trust me.

I experienced psychosis from combining large doses of kratom with psychedelics. Specifically, it was a combination of mushrooms and kratom.

Small doses are relatively safe with psychedelics, but do not combine large doses.

Kratom itself can cause psychosis and symptoms that mimic schizophrenia. It is a psychotogenic drug, if does not act like an antipsychotic.
