Misc What is the best antipsychotic medication to "stop a bad shroom trip"?

Hands down…. Mirtazapine aka Remeron. Just 15mg cancels/stops a strong LSD or DOC trip. I used to use it if I wanted to trip just for a few hours and not all day. Minimal side effects (just a little sedation).

One time before an extended family dinner meetup I accidentally took 2ct4 instead of 2-FMA… started tripping balls…Took half a remeron pill and 30-45 minutes later the trip just ends. Works great.
Even excessive ammounts of Benzos didn't stop DOC, and Mirtazepine was in the house . So there was a option out, in my staircase cupboard, did know it but atm that knowledge was unaccesable. DOC en Benzo incapable-ized.

Luckily no appointements or family dinner were on my schedule. Lots of time to ride it out.

Before I knew how great Mirtazapine worked, I tried to stop a 6mg DOC trip with 50mg seroquel… which failed. It made it worse because I was still tripping but could barely move. I’m not sure why Mirtazapine works so well…

Seroquel does work good to stop amphetamines from working though.. I was using it at night to force 8 hours of sleep when taking oral meth for adhd. The duration of seroquel when taken to cancel stimulants is perfect for a forced sleep sesh.
… but I noticed after taking it nightly for this reason I had to keep taking higher doses until 200mg was no longer enough to cancel meth.

I remember one year I was taking 60mg Mirtazapine daily for depression and was still able to trip - so I think these things work best IF you aren’t taking them daily already. For some reason the trip or stim block effects don’t quite work good when you already are using mirtaz/sero chronically. Anyone know why this is?
