What great band have you just discovered?

@HeWhoHowls

Ha, I thought I was the only one on this planet thinking that band was totally the shizzle.

We may be great friends someday.
Idk why but I would only listen to hardcore punkrock from the states.
But swedish hc definitely tickled my curiosity.

I fuckin love going to crust metal shows, have been for years.
But i never really had anythng on my ipod.
Til I downloaded a shitload of Deviated Instinct.

Fucking new ATHEIST. Awesome band, recommendation courtesy of ebola?. ebola?, you kick ass all over. This band is so fuckin cool, I love the vocals.

I find it's hit and miss with Das Racist, but a lot more miss. They have a few really catchy, great songs. The rest of the songs just feel like filler.

just discovered Gold Zebra from their song Love, French, Better on a 20jazzfunkgreats mix. its labeled as dark-disco nu-italo retro-futurist visage musique LABELS heh, its got that darkwave, nowave, synthwave lol vibe + french lyrics its really dope and they give it away for free on bandcamp ! d/l it trust me its that fire http://goldzebra.bandcamp.com/track/love-french-better

the song "Cop Killer" won me over, only heard his most recent album, seems to have quite a catalog... if its half as good as "We Must Become The Pitiless Censors Of Ourselves" ill be a happy d00d.

oh and Vatican Shadow, one man aka Prurient aka guy from Cold Cave. appears to be experimental electronic leaning exercises inspired by the war on terror. Bin Laden's Corpse

My friend tried to turn me on to Split Lip Rayfield like 7 years ago and I just now got around to listening to them. Kickass music with great lyrics. I picked this song mainly because it sounded better than most of the live recordings on YouTube.

Notice the bass player jamming on a one-string, gas tank bass.

love the Split Lip

Dokken (my kung fu teacher got me into them)

Really loving Shack and their numerous incarnations right now. Vaguely remember the name from first time around early 90s but they were never really on my radar, probably because Michael Head was too fucked up and strung out to really make much of the breaks he had at the time. Losing the master tapes to Waterpistol at a time when it would have really had some impact slotting in nicely somewhere between Stone Roses and The La's must have killed them. Too late by the time it was eventually released by the looks of things. Time Machine's a great intro to Michael Head's particular brand of British psychedelia.
