i switched from 1cc to 0.5cc 30ga. BD insulin. it's a better volume for dope because you only need 50units max for a shot anyway. i still use the 1cc syringes for mixed shots (dope and oc), pills by themselves, and speedballs (very rare).

29g, 1/2" tip, 1cc. I remember asking the pharmacy tech for the first time years ago, I was so scared...I was sure they were going to say "WE DON'T SELL NEEDLES TO JUNKYS" over the loud speaker. luckily the opposite happened and I went home and threw the next few years away. (Ha)

i work for a distributor & have one huge customer which is a contract manufacturer for Terumo, so hey I'm glad to support Terumo ^.^ i started with short tips & have used long but they were harder for me, prolly cuz i was used to the short.

haha you're not alone i'm sure

I was in CVS today getting my suboxone rx refilled, and this really skinny blonde girl walked up to the counter and asked for a bag of 1cc syringes. The tech asks her if she has an rx, and the girl says no i dont, they are for my grandmother and she doesnt have one here either. The guy toally shot her down.

i was going to tell her in this state you dont need an rx and its at the pharmacists discretion...but i figured she would only have to go to like one or two more places before she got some, they are pretty easy to get around here.

fuck, i accidentally put 29g even though i had my needles sitting right in front of me double checking.

i meant 27g, 1/2'' 1cc Terumo.

never liked the BD brand as the plunger on them is fucked in my opinion. the Terumo are superior in every way. they glide so nicely and very rarely leave a mark and if they do it was user error.

these are recognised as Insulin sharps around here, and it's even better that the hospital gives out Terumo's, as other places i've been to were BD's

I think we were referring to piercings. Lower number the bigger, higher number the smaller. Get pierced! :)

eh...this is all too complicated to me..i just buy a half CC long tip syringe....41 cents at walgreens pharmacy a piece. a 10 pack at rite-aid is $2.99...i never heard of all this fancy stuff all u guys talking bout

I used BD 1cc 29G short tip insulin syringes with the solid needle/syringe combo, but my 100 count box ran out a short while ago, so I've been re-using some of my old ones, and have been using 2cc 25G short tips since last sunday which is now 2 days ago, I got them from a fellow BL'er who get's them from the needle exchange. I can't wait for my trusted ol' insuling rigs though.

27g, 1 cc I think. My memory sucks, my boyfriend usually handles the needles so I forget what they are. We switch around sometimes too.

2ml syringe with 0.3mm (30G) needle. The syringe is Terumo or BD and the needle is Microlance or Terumo.

And 30G only bends if you don't know how to use it. When you have to really search for good veins you learn to appreciate smaller needles.

BD 31g 5/16 1cc alll the way man... i dont need no track marks. hard to register with these? you must need a lesson or two... i dont even tie off.

Anyone happen to know if ketamine would be able to fit through a 33g needle? I think I've used 31g but it seamed like it wouldn't have liked much smaller

wow, this shooting up thing is a whole different world with a different knowledge base. i really am glad i have a morbid phobia of needles.

Do 33 gauge needles exist?
Yep! They're hypodermic by TSK Steriject and they have 31g and 32g. Very expensive though but when I used 31g needles for IMing I could use them about 20x before they even start hurting or leave any kind of bruise.

I used to IV but not anymore. I don't IV anything or abuse anything at all anymore but I did used to use 30g, short tip, 1cc w/o a prescription.
