What exactly is in "new" Spice?

Well before the ban, most of the small blend makers I know had stopped using 18, 73, and 200. They were all about 19, 81, 250, and now 210 (plus AM-2201 should be going main-stream now).

Is it mainly chinese clandestine pharmacies these synthetic cannabinoids come from?

I bet they're making an absolute fortune, whoever it supplying these chems in bulk. Apparently the syntheses of these compounds is relatively simple and inexpensive, meaning the profit margins are probably quite large.

I wish I were a chemist.

it doesnt work like that, tiger.

Actually it depends on the case.
The analog act is so ambiguous that sugar could be called an analog of amphetamine simply because they both affect blood pressure levels.

Yes this is often the case however the syntheses are very shoddy and the Chinese government is starting to take action(or so I've heard. It's not like I plan to visit anytime soon)
Expect the large bulk of any phenethylamines, tryptamines, aminoalkylindoles, or any other 'new' RC to be of Chinese origin. I can tell you this with 100% certainty. What I cannot say is how long it will remain this way.

I called it quits when the responsibility of these syntheses went from Canada to China. This is advice I would give to all.

It just seems so dodgy. I would never want to risk my health in the hands of some dodgy Chinese drug factories (I don't even want to call them pharmaceutical manufacturers). Especially if what delta_9 says is true, and the syntheses are 'shoddy'. Fuck that. Stick to herb, which has had thousands of years of testing in humans in effect.

I wonder if it would have become as popular as it is now (when I say 'it' I'm referring the the plethora of jwh compounds in existence) if from the start they hadn't started spraying the chemicals onto plant material, giving the appearance of being a herbal drug similar to cannabis?

The information is 100% accurate as of November 2010. I highly doubt things have changed in such a short time. For my own safety I cannot say how I know this, only that I do know this.
Please be safe guys. Cannabis is fine medicine and is in need of no replacement. :D

I think some people give up on cannabis too easily. If they have a bad time when smoking a certain type of cannabis they judge the drug as a whole when they just didn't get on well with that particular strain. It's quite common for people to hate one strain but love the next, so it can pay to try lots of different types until you find one you're comfortable with, and enjoy.

My online guy is saying none of his blends contain any of the banned substances and he even has lab results showing that they are all completely devoid of any banned substances. Unfortunately he won't say what is in it- I am not sure why but then again no one says what is in their blends.

I have to say though- the new stuff is better than the old- I really wish I had some clue though what was in it. It is scary to think it could be one of several hundred chems none of which have a ton of use by humans to go by.

definitely wouldnt be nearly as popular. I guess what they do makes sense though as it IS a drug similar to cannabis, and most stoners i know wouldnt be all that into buying bags of powder to smoke.
