What drug subcultures do you least like?

1. I cant stand most drunk girls; crying, screaming, yelling, being sick, acting like sluts, being 'discusted' by users.
2. When people hit that initial ecstasy buzz, where there droping multiple times a week and talking about it constantly. tbh anyone with no respect for the drugs they use irritates me but i see this one the most.
3. I have no problem with ketamin but spending time with people when there using and your not isn't fun at all.
 
Alcoholics. Every single alcoholic I know ALWAYS thinks they're better than all the other drug users because "Alcohol is legal therefore better than you"

They always put down me and my friends for using ANY drug, be it coke, ketamine, or acid. Always think they're better than us (IMHO Alcohol is a horribly failed drug, and is such a waste of money for so little effect)
 
I work 40 hours a week and try to smoke every day if possible. Not that I would spend money on weed if I needed to pay a bill or something, but I definitely enjoy smoking after work every day. Just because someone smokes 5-7 days a week doesnt mean theyre a "stoner". In my mind, stoners are people who dont do anything productive and smoke weed every day.

but yeah Im with you guys in the disliking of that group. Still hate sloppy drunk chicks the most.

I guess ravers too but just because im not fond of loud techno and dancing doesnt mean its bad, just not my cup of tea.

For me, this is the most annoying "subculture" by far since I know way too many people like this. It's perfectly fine for them to drink all night, get completely smashed yet when I pull my bowl out I get ridiculed (true story) and told I'm an idiot for doing drugs... hmm 8)

Don't even get me started on sloppy drunk girls... my ex gf was one of those. If a girl is being all drunk and stupid around me regardless of how hot she is, I get completely turned off.

I guess its just the alcohol crowd in general I don't like. Just not a fan of being loud, obnoxious, looking for fights, etc...

I mean the people who giggle every time they look at the clock and it says 4:20, the people who refuse to accept the fact that - despite the low probability of such - it IS possible to become psychologically addicted to marijuana, and most of all the people that think they're better and more "enlightened" than everyone who chooses not to smoke marijuana but occasionally indulges in alcohol (of course proceeding to call them a hypocrite, despite what I wrote earlier about their own denouncement of other drugs).

Oh, I hate that. I'm so angry when I get stuck in a room with my sister and her stupid stoner friends that constantly ask me why I hate weed. I just DON'T like it! Then they found out I slammed dope and asked me why I hate weed but I slam dope. I've only smoked weed about 5 times in my life, and plan on keeping it that way. I can't say I HATE stoners..I dislike them..lots.
 
i get annoyed over people who over glamorize drug use

letting everyone know how FUCKED UP they are or tell lengthy exaggerated stories from that time they used drugs a few weeks ago

i can't stand people who regularly tell lengthy stories from their previous experiences , period...cool story, man...if i cared i would have asked you questions
 
I think there's definitely a secret research scientist speed subculture. I read in wired that 20% of scientists have used brain enhancing chemicals, so i figure among intense, university research scientists (science professors) the number is around 50%. That seems like the most epic win drug subculture ever. By day, normal monotonic chemistry professor. By night, snorting adderall and doing two different calculations which each hand while looking through a microscope, cranked out on speeeed.

I do sometimes wonder how much of a role drugs play in the achievements of extremely successful people, regardless of industry.

Psychedelics, Stimulants, and Sleep Aids (Benzos/Melatonin or whatever works) to allow inspiration, increased mental clarity/focus/motivation, and controlled sleep schedules respectively.

Mathematicians seem to be very prone to this:
Paul Erdős was famous not only for his intensely prolific mathematical career but also for his idiosyncratic vocabulary (children were "epsilons", women were "bosses", men were "slaves", the Soviet Union was "Joe" (Stalin?) and the US was "Sam" (Uncle?), etc.) and being helpless in day-to-day life to the point that fellow mathematician Ron Graham accompanied him a large amount, almost to the point of being his caretaker. For much of his life, he had no permanent home, and no possessions but a bag of clothes and some notebooks, but was so well respected that other mathematicians would let him stay over nearly anywhere he happened to travel. He also accused God of hiding his socks.

The amphetamines probably helped his eccentricities along; on the other hand, when he gave them up for thirty days on a bet, he claimed that the '...progress of mathematics had been set back by one month.

He also had a skin condition that meant he could only wear silk, which his host had to wash for him. He did mathmatics twenty hours a day and would bang pans together when he wanted your attention, usually to do math in the middle of the night. He didn't show up at peoples' homes at random, but he researched them and proclaimed "My mind is open" when they answered the door. He's still considered so influential that mathematicians keep track of how many papers they are removed from him.'

This is interesting, because if you ask any of my old friends, they'd probably tell you I'm a junkie... but DAMN do I hate real junkies. the ones that never shower cause they are either too high to get up or too sick to do anything... which brings me to my #1 most hated part of junkies: WHINING ABOUT BEING SICK/NEEDING TO GET WELL. SHUT THE FUCK UP. I KNOW YOU WANT DOPE, I DO TOO, BUT IF WE SIT AROUND TALKING ABOUT HOW SICK WE ARE WHILE WE WAIT FOR THE DEALER TO HIT US UP TIME IS GONNA MOVE SLOW AND HORRIBLY. I personally think of myself as getting high EVERY time I get a bag, fuck the whole I can't wait to get well thought process... I use drugs for fun, not for maintenance... or at least I tell myself that every chance I get :p
 
Complaints about any drug user

What drug causes/attracts the most annoying/least likable users in your opinion?

Amphetamine users are generally the most annoying for not only their obsessive talking, but their irritability. I was once yelled at by a guy that invited himself over to my house for looking at him wrong while he was busy talking about doing crystal meth in front of my friends and family. I believed he was going to try and start something with me in my own domain. Dumb.

Next would be alcohol. Nothing is more annoying than listening to a drunk person's condescending speech and having to forgive them the next day. Not to mention dealing with extremely drunk people is a chore. While on other substances, drunk people seem so scatterbrained it is difficult to ask them for anything. Alcoholics also seem to have a strange form of discrimination in that they are uninterested in those that are not also drunk with them.

Next is weed. I love to smoke, but sometimes stoners can really irk me. Especially the ones that do not understand why I would pass up an opportunity to smoke a bowl with them on a Friday night before I go out. The ones that go around hating on individuals that don't share the same toking ambitions as them set me off.
 
I'd have to say Cannabis/420 culture. Because of the double-standards and (Sometimes, not always.) incredibly judgmental views of other drugs and users of them. I love smoking weed (Which is why I have to take a tolerance break now haha.) but I think
it's pretty childish to use Cannabis as your identity or part of it.

Agreed. I have deliberately been sober most every 4\20 since I started smoking weed. I like pot but its not the greatest thing since sliced bread. I use it for my panic attacks. Its good medicine but I'm not gonna wear tye dye and play frisbee golf.
