What drug gave you the best weight loss results

anyone heard of the drug diazoxide?
It works by activating potassium channels in the pancreas, signalling insulin releasing cells to rest thus inhibiting release of insulin into the bloodstream. it basically has the opposite effect to a class of anti-diabetic drugs called sulfonylureas.
Diazoxide has been used for decades to successfully treat low blood sugar in congenital hyperinsulinaemia especially in babies.
I believe some studies have found diazoxide, especially at high doses, facilitates fat loss and improves the effectiveness of exercise and healthy eating in obese individuals.

maybe these don’t really count as drugs, but high strength B vitamins, especially B6 and B12 can go a long way I think.
They’re not a magic bullet for fat loss, but they can boost Energy levels and well-being when on a calorie restricted diet.
Vitamin A(retinal) can directly boost lipolysis and thermogenesis I believe. of course, you need to be careful with the dose as too much can be toxic.
I don’t have scientific proof to back this up, but from my own experience sugar-free energy drinks really help me to lose fat. actually, they contributed to me being severely underweight at one point of my life and I think it was more than caffeine which was responsible.
One of the problems with calorie restriction is that the body slows down metabolism to try and hold onto fat. additionally, nutritional deficiencies that come with dieting further decrease metabolism. taking in the above-mentioned vitamins should correct deficiencies and help you extract the energy locked away in fat stores. it might also trick your body into raising metabolism, as the influx of vitamins and minerals makes it think food is abundant

Well I guess a heavy stimulant habit would do a great job, given that it cranks up your metabolism. Also puts a strain on your heart so not exactly recommended.

Opiate-dependents tend to be thin.
Because a) these drugs quell your appetite for the most part and b) you generally don't have enough ready cash to cover both the drugs AND food supplies.

^^^I‘ve always been lean given my life-long shitty appetite and disinterest in food. In fact I still hate eating.

But when i was on methadone, especially when i got to my max dose of 380mg/day, food never tasted so good in my entire life. I felt like a normal person in that regard, truly able to enjoy and desire food.

I gained a good 60 pounds. All disappeared when i quit. Sometimes I miss it; it was nice to be able to truly enjoy food.

Glad you shared that, you made a really interesting point. A lot of people say they wish their appetite was gone but as humans, we don’t always know what we truly want. The extremely powerful appetite suppressants like semaglutide, which can cause massive weight loss in many people, are not very sustainable at least not beyond one year. yes, that might be partly because they suppress the dopamine system so induce apathy and boredom, but also the inability to enjoy food entails the loss of one of life’s biggest pleasures.
I really don’t think appetite suppression should ever be the main focus of any long-term weight loss strategy.
If we’re talking sustainable drugs, I think we need to look at the science of fat storage, energy expenditure and calorie partitioning.

I'm sure it's already crossed your mind, and I wouldn't recommend touching it, at least not this racemic shit out today, but someone's gotta say it... meth. I dropped a hot 40 lbs. (of muscle 🙄) in 17 days. Nowhere near therapeutic doses lol.
I lost only max 10kg which are like 22lbs within 5 months and hat it back quickly.
I lost mostly musscles not worth it

Opis never made me skinny. Opposite of anything due to the sedentary lifestyle.

Stims work but are kind of slow. And will take your muscle before anything else. Major sides

Ozempic is highly effective. I never needed more than 1mg per week and had no sides. Could not get below ~18% bf even when barely eating. Seemed to equal catabolism of fat and muscle.

Nicotine is apparently quite good at fighting fat while sparing muscle. if what I read is true, nicotine doesn’t only stimulate. lipolysis and suppress appetite like other stimulants. it may possibly redistribute lipids from the adipose tissue and transfer them to the muscle where they are more likely to be burnt rather than stored.

Hey guys, in your personal opinion. What drug, wether legal or not, or wether marketed for weight loss or not, made you loose weight the most.

Thanks!

Amphetamine Sulphate (134lbs to 91lbs in 10ish weeks with ZERO other method to lose weight other than the drug, which is why I took it), but I also morphed into Sara Goldfarb and got sectioned so can't say I'd recommend it

For illegal or street drug, crack and H. Especially the crack but it will eat muscle away too.

Otherwise an ECA stack with a good diet.

Hi, look into GLP1 peptides. There is Ozempic, (semaglutide), Monjouro (tirzepatide), along with cagrilinitide (not GLP1 but works alongside them to kill appetite and Retatrutide (sp?) which is supposed to be greatest for weight loss but worst for appetite suppression so the cagrilinitide taken with it helps with that. Many people, myself included, stack some variation of these for best weightloss. It goes without saying though that calories in vs plus focus on eating protein protein as well as LOTS of water are vital. Excercise goes a long way towards to helping as well.

I went to the doctor recently to ask for meds to treat my mild obesity. I weighed 99kgs and am down to about 92kgs now after a month of Orlistat.

I still have not tried phentermine yet.

I think the Orlistat is working as I have not been binge eating.

I read that lisdexamfetamine can be used to treat binge eating.

Also I bought some saccharin and have been using that with my coffee instead of sugar.

Good luck on your weight loss journey, I hope you lose all the fat you want without losing muscle.
Do you find that orlistat leads you to decrease your fat intake? just interested because I’ve heard that this drug is supposed to work by blocking fat absorption which it certainly does. However, I believe that the secondary effect, which is the development of digestive intolerance to fat. including severe diarrhoea leads people to stop eating as many fats. if that leads to more of your calories coming from carbs, that might help with sustainable weight loss as well as a muscle sparing effect.
I’m not saying that all calories don’t matter, they do. It’s just that fats are much more calorically dense than carbs and they can be stored immediately with minimal effort/energy requirement on the part of the body. whilst excess carbohydrates can be turned into fat by de novo lipogenesis, it is an energy intensive process resulting in only a relatively small amount of fat being produced each day.
My advice would be, try a high carbohydrate diet where about 80% of your calorie intake comes from carbs. Eat adequate proteins and minimise fats, but do ensure that those fats are healthy fats which your body certainly needs to function properly. of course, if you’re going to do that, I would advise you stop the orlistat to ensure you can fully absorb those healthy fats.

Klonopin

I went from an anxiety sufferer with a quality of life to an anorexic alcoholic with chronic pain. Ah, people. People. Other people. That's nice.

Moving from a toxic environment where I felt like I needed to eat to cope, Plus taking exorbitant amounts of adderall helped me lose 40-50 pounds in 4 months.

go me???

Methyphenidate
That had my metabolism on overdrive and its anxioretic [side effects] were in my experience inmense.
And I allready was just below BMI so suopressin the need to eat was unwanted. Fatburner, i had about no fat.

Dextro-Amphetamine doesn t supress my appetite as MPH, and seems less at speeding up metabolism.
Gained weight on it ! Switching from MPH both normal therapeutic dosages.
Imo 10 mg MPH is not equal anorexic or speedy as 5 mg d-Amp, Equivalent dosage, So called, not.
MPH is irredic in Pharmakinetic s, Amp s not. So equivalence means little anyway.

A other 'semi-drug' that worked, was not the aim. my Intention was eating healthy and the right way.
Found out later it was in essence a selfhelp book for weight-loss, hence 'semi-drug'.
Worked great, only problem i att allready was underweight. Thought it was just about health

Its called "A lLife Long Fit" [or something like that] / Harvey, Marilyn Diamond.
Add some excersise, herbs. And ditch/ swap maybe some things in the book.
Don t know if its still up to date, 25 years later.

Moving away from a toxic environment can be so freeing, and it’s awesome that you’ve managed to lose that weight. I can relate to using food as a coping mechanism; I did that too during some stressful times. Once I found healthier outlets, like exercise, it made a huge difference.
Bringing down a toxic environment is good for this too
