What drug did you pop your needle cherry with!?

Heroin.
I felt nothing lol. It wasn't only my first time IVing, but my first time using heroin and I had no idea of the strength so i injected 1/4th of a £10 bag lol. I then injected the rest but still felt almost nothing. I was on like 60mg/methadone at the time (after becoming addicted to the Oxy I was prescribed).

My only two experiences with IV injections came at the hands of doctors...

First time?
A mixture of midazolam, fentanyl, and propofol. You better believe that the roughly two seconds I was conscious were just PEACHY. As were the first five or ten minutes after I came out of the propofol.

Second time, 5mg morphine x2 (10min apart) in the hospital, to alleviate ulcer pain. Thoroughly underwhelming; great analgesia, zero euphoria, intense nausea even with a 15 second push.

Nausea?! The only other time I've experienced opioid-induced nausea was 3+ years and many, many morphine-milligram-equivalents earlier, and the dosage of intrarectal U-47700 in that instance was about equal to 120mg oral morphine.

But even in the case of the underwhelming 10mg IV morphine... I could see the addictive potential in the speed by which I achieved even non-euphoric pain relief. To go from "suffering" to "suddenly devoid of pain" in a few seconds flat was a neat trick.

The sick fucks gave me haloperidol shortly thereafter and ruined the morphine though, l o l. By dint of the horrific akathisia I now know haloperidol gives me... what, I'm not good enough for ondansetron?! Not their fault and not Zofran's usual indication but JESUS, from morphine-calm to EPS hell just like that.

U-47700 up the butt ? you must have had a sore butt hole after that. I snorted it and my nose was sore for weeks
 
I've only injected heroin a couple times, but both times I was so scared of OD I did a tiny bit and didn't really get any effect. Not really a needle guy.
 
dilaudid, had 30 8's and excruciating jaw pain. No other way would touch the pain so I put on a suit. (dont do that).......... and walked two blocks away and luckily they gave em to me. MI btw. hit first shot too, 3 at a time you can imagine haha.
 
If cannabis counts, then that. But the drug that got me addicted to opiates way back when 3 of my grammas Percocets which she gave me for a migraine. I can still remember that high like it was yesterday. 16 years old, nodding, scratching, and feeling PURE BLISS. Chased it for a while and then almost killed myself and had to say never again.

Was way to easy chewing up a pill in a gas station straw then backloading into the rig and sucking up gas station boiling water.

You'd shoot whole pills unfiltered?

My first was half an oc80. I used an 18 gauge needle designed for intramuscular injection, ouch

Yea, not one of my prouder moments in life, and was clueless when it came down to HR relating to IV pills. When I was told that Dilaudids were water soluable, and dude showed me how 'simple' it was to IV. Then yeah. Luckily I didn't like catch herpaghonasyphliaids.
