What does the body high from ketamine feel like?

Dissociative is an appropriate descriptor. The essential action of these drugs including Ketamine, Dextromethorphan (DXM) and others is to separate you from your ability to "feel". It's like going numb in some ways, but think, instead of a single finger being numb, it is your entire sensory system going "numb" at the same time. The effects take on different subjective experiences as the dosage is increased.

Just know, the end-stage of Ketamine intoxication is a nearly complete numbing of your senses. However, Ketamine does not cause respiratory depression (of course. sedation will inevitably lead to the breathing being slowed, however, this is not as with Opioids, as said drugs literally stop the part of your brain responsible for maintaining breathing) so it is actually much more safe than Opioids.

However, Ketamine, and any drug that can intoxicate or incapacitate is potentially dangerous. My friend once did some Ketamine and woke up to find his apartment completely and utterly destroyed and with a broken arm and hand. He apparently destroyed everything, windows included, by punching them. How common is this behavior, I'm not totally sure. How common is stupid behavior on Ketamine, quite common.

Im curious to know how ketamine feels what sensations does it give? Is it like a tingling feeling or something else?
For me personally, lighter doses make me feel very wobbly and as if my brain is slow to register my own movements. Like if I touch my own arm, it at first would feel unnatural and not mine until my brain catches up and realizes it’s my own arm haha

K-hole doses however can be many different sensations. For me milder k-holes I will simply not feel my body. I could still move but it’s very heavy and uncomfortable. It’s as if you have no body and it’s just your brain left.

When taking like a big line of K at a time instead of bumping my way into a k-hole, I have felt myself being sucked out of my body before, as if I was a ghost escaping it and leaving my body comfortably in my bed in the ‘normal world’.

During k-holes, for me the body sensations differ greatly based on what music I listen to. Some reoccurring feelings body movements I’ve felt are the feeling of falling/floating, sometimes combined with visuals inside my head of being in water or in the sky/space.

Getting dragged around like a ragdoll is another one, kind of like getting dragged across the floor by your hair??? Not in a painful way, just sensation wise.

I rarer one if the music hits just right, is spinning around or getting sucked into a spiral.

A very fascinating thing I have experienced as someone with chronic bone pain, is still feeling my pain, even when in a very deep k-hole. I can’t feel where the pain is coming from, although inside my head I do know, I just can’t physically feel it. It’s as if being a total void and feeling the sensation of pain somewhere in that void like a tiny light dot that represents pain in it’s most pure, disconnected form, seperated from the body.

It wasn’t super unpleasant, the K did dull down the pain, but I was suprised to still feel pain in some way despite ketamine being used as an anesthetic in medical settings (for animals at least, idk how widespread it’s medical use still is with humans).

Ketamine and K-holing can be amazing experiences, but if you’re not expecting losing control of your real life body, then I can understand why people hate K-holes haha. Comfy in bed with some good synth-based music (in my opinion) is so sooo good tho.

If you do too much you simply don't feel your body, you don't feel yourself being a physical thing

ultra high dose like 500-1000mg in a short period of time paralyzed me so much i had to throw a pile of cocaine on the mattress and snort it popeye style. The k had hit my stomach and it was impossible to get up to the bathroom 5m from the couch lmao.

So basically as if gravity is fucking you, walking straight is hard and moving feels like low fps, super high latency so it’s hard to not be clumsy as fuck.

Since i got a tolerance it’s mainly being v clumsy and walking into things. Not the insane vortex feeling. Need pcp for full body vibrations responding to bass.

It's my absolute favorite. I'm a fucking fiend for the stuff. The first time I did it, I read on reddit that it feels like you're standing sideways behind yourself and that was pretty accurate. I took a picture later that day that is legendary among me and my friends that shows me looking beyond this reality holding a bag with a snapchat caption that reads, "I'm on so much ketamine, I feel like I'm in a fucking videogame" And honestly I think I hit the nail on the head. I just did half of a FAT line and I'mma do the other half here in a sec, I can feel it come up now. I can tell you about headspace and thoughts and stuff but I'll just sum it up like "unplugging from the matrix" Bodywise, you go pretty fucking numb. the more you do the more numb you get. not like cocaine where it's locally. it's like, everywhere loses sensation and you wouldn't know it til you tried pinching yourself. I don't know if you've played black ops two mob of the dead, but when you go down, your soul exits your body and you have to find and revive yourself, meanwhile you're actually holding a controller moving this soul around on a 2d screen to find some body and that's apparently you. When you're not thinking about it and your head is in the game, that is you, you forget you're holding a controller. But on ket, you remember that the controller only has like 13 inputs or something like that and that your soul needs to be there attached to your body lest you die (not that I believe in a soul). It's a dissociative I can't really think of a way to describe it. I'mma do that other half now.

I also want to say that I've had it hit with a really warm molly warmth, not quite as euphoric, but very social. this is after a bender. you kind of have to let it break you first. That or my receptors are fucked. But I've heard this from others as well.

Movement feels smooth and wobbly. Limbs are confusing. I remember once when me and my boyfriend were on K and got confused about whose legs belonged to who.
That happened to me on MXE one time. My ex and a couple of friends and I were all laying in bed together and we couldn’t figure out whole limbs were whose. Such a strange and amusing experience

Hard to describe unless you’ve been there. It’s warm, but not in the blanket sense that opioids give. It has a slightly alien/synthic vibe to it, but almost in a natural way if that makes any sense. At higher doses there’s also a very pleasant buzzing effect, feeling the you’re being massaged by electrons.

The effects of ketamine aren't easy to compare to another drugs. The only thing that I found kind of similar was propofol when I awoke after a surgery

Hard to describe for sure. I feel separated from my body to some degree. But also still able to think about shit. Like with certain stims I don't really feel, if hard shit is going on in my life I can put it aside while high.

With K there is the potential to think about something difficult and go down a weird rabbit hole. Not always the best experience.

The thing I like about it compared to stims which I've struggled with is that I only really do it at night. It's something I want to lay down and enjoy. Can't do it during the day and drive around or whatever.

I personally prefer to do it IM. I already IM test every few days so figured why not. After that forget about lines the experience is far inferior to IM. But I guess this is the nature of injecting drugs vs other methods.

i take it like two times a year or took it because I know if I take more quantity there goes my bladder, as to subjective effects can be manic a bit at lower doses as it is like anesthesia with suddenly sometimes trying to stay awake because it is relative to your sleep habit.

as are you tired or up like a bit nervous than it is more like having memories of some childhood thing that may be dream or an event but yeah start slow put a movie on or music it is next level,

I was exiting the k-hole that is something you just need to know how to prepare or not sleeping but in some sitting position again dont do that at start i didnt also but when I did I was exiting while paul was I recognize your footsteps old man and than ornitopter and worm eating spice harvester, than Interstellar as memento or beyond the black rainbow sorry for smal caps am in hurry to mix on controller have some inspiration but this is like neuroplasticity this site habituation and it is and on wiki as psychonaut praised for its antidepressant as patoplastigen some name check it out.

please only k than take it, smal dose dunno 50mg max or spread throuhg two lines in half hour start small always

no booze no benzos or pregabalin downers and only dri like ritalin concerta goes ok for me coke was always bad so i dont even bother. also weight yours like if you are like 60 70kg vs 110kg person I think as i saw but they also would drink than say it was shit they feel like shit i say making mistakes same over and over in your mid 30s is plain stupidity so please try not to take dissos or psychedelic with me as some people are like that as negativity tend to just make you nervous.

so be smart and slow smal safe

I have never tried it and doubt I ever will but I'm fascinated by it.reading all the descriptions in posts it seems you would have to try it to find out
I've never taken heroin etc but I can at least consieve what it would feel like

It has been adequately explained by others here but ketamine is by far the most unique drug I’ve ever taken.

I found it far more interesting and enjoyable than say LSD but this is because it is far more addictive.

The body high is numbing and tingly the same. The body high comes more from detachment rather than any sensations.

The enjoyment is being so uncaring of your body. When your like myself and are autistic, you have spent your whole life as a prisoner of your body. The feeling of being above and beyond it is so unbelievably euphoric.

I take 3 grams of agamatine nightly. It feels like if I bumped 10mg of s isomer with no tolerance.

I use to do keys of K and just act a bit silly with friends, and I’ve done eighths of it, watching cameras spawn out of my bathroom and me have a OBE in the bath (I was a young lad with a death wish and would do things you shouldn’t, like ketamine in the bath)

I've never taken lsd
I think it's the detachment description of ket I can't really comprehend
